BREAKING: The King WILL NOT apologise to Commonwealth nations for Britain’s role in the slave trade
BREAKING: The King is not expected to offer an official apology or financial reparations to Commonwealth nations for Britain’s role in the historic transatlantic slave trade.
The UK Government’s position is understood not to have changed ahead of His Majesty’s high-profile visit to the Caribbean later this month, including a Realm Visit to the Bahamas, where campaigners have warned him “not to come empty-handed”.
King Charles’s Autumn tour will also visit Guyana before the Queen joins him in Antigua and Barbuda for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
A Buckingham Palace spokesman has told GB News that the visit will “not shy away from the darkest days” of the past, and has repeatedly said that His Majesty acts solely on Government advice.

A pub landlord has blasted Sir Keir Starmer over his latest U-turn.
The Prime Minister announced emergency legislation on Thursday that will allow pubs across the country to stay open until 5am on Monday so punters can watch Engand’s early-morning World Cup game against Mexico.
Speaking to GB News, Steve Perez, owner of The Red Lion pub in Stone Edge, said the decision is “too little, too late.”

HMRC says over 800,000 young adults have an unclaimed trust fund, with £2,310 on average.
These are tax-free savings accounts that were set out by the government for children born between September 2002 and January 2011, with at least £250 put in to get them started.

And yet even in poor neighbourhoods in England you see cafes, nail bars, mens and women beauty lounges and loads of takeaways, plus amazon delivery vans stopping everywhere. There are even cafes still opening. And then there are swarms of deliveroo bikes taking takeaways to people. i find it hard to understand if so many are supposed to be in 'food poverty' – maybe they spend money on wrong things?…..

I've seen greedy people joining queues for foodbanks because the food is free and offer quality food items! I've seen many driving expensive cars, and I will never take someone's else food because it's free!!!

Why not report live from the 4* Barbican Thistle Hotel in London which is closed for asylum seekers? Got free meals, swimming pool & all sorts 😅 even harassing the locals outside. The police have been told to keep that from the media 🤐

Absolute nonsense, I don't know a single person that has used a food bank! I wonder how many of those that actually do use food banks have TV packages, mobile packages, pets, umpteen kids and continue to buy treats/junk food rather than put together 'proper' meals. I'm fed up of hearing the left wing media say teachers and nurses are having to use food banks, this is total BS as nobody on 25K plus needs to use a food bank. If this was the case over half of the population would be using them. Food banks should be means tested!

Theres a big difference in 2022 to the 1960s when I grew up firstly most of the people in my community were poor & there were no handouts in fact if you said to your neighbour I will give you some food for your kids they would slam the door in your face and say " do you think I cannot afford to feed my kids ". Now people expect handouts.
