It's all about you and power isn't it politician Truss? A day or so ago you were defending Kwarteng, now you are apologising for your mistakes? No, you are apologising for putting your damned job in jeopardy because you upset Schwaab and his cronies. What you should be sorry about is not allowing Kwarteng to chop government spending with a chainsaw to balance the books. The less of your damned government the better.Stop immigration , chuck in zero carbon targets and get out of the Ukraine.

"delivering, delivering, delivering, delivering" – delivering WHAT? More undocumented immigrants? NO THANKS!

You can see in her face that she is being controlled from behind, she is being held with a gun to her head by the left wing of the party, by the Bank of England and the IMF, you are witnessing a complete cult take over right before your eyes. This is a very different Liz Truss form the Liz Truss we saw just before she got into office, nobody changes this quickly unless, they have just experienced trauma! So we are yet again having unelected leaders take over! I am sure this is because they have a Chip on their shoulder about brexit, so this is showing the British people that the establishment WILL have their way!

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

    Oops, sorry.
Fair enough, Liz. No harm done, eh?

Sorry about that, can we move on with business as usual now please ?

Pathetic. People face their energy bills doubling in May and their mortgages have gone up too.Yet you refuse to expand the windfall tax to pay for a subsidy. You have still uncapped *ankers bonuses. You refuse to tax non doms. You are a useless, unelected, appointee, who has no mandate. Zero right to tell the rest of us how it is.

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

Just to be clear: Liz Truss did not apologize to the British public. She apologized to the markets.
Tell me something, Liz: How did it feel when you realized that there was nothing you could do to protect yourself from their wrath, not even to sacrifice others along the way?

The trust has gone in this two party sellout!! What is it with this lot they think they can do what they want and know one will notice. Make no mistake this is a globalist coupe and she’s allowed it to happen. Is this what she meant when she promised to deliver real conservative policies the other week. It’s a bit like the Biden administration being run by the radical lefties using him as the decoy. Tell us one thing and do the absolute opposite. The silent majority we be paying you back shortly. Brexiteers Now must all vote Reform.

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

I don't think It will matter who is in the hot seat tbh we will be dealing with the same BS each time! need a whole new type of people in there. more everyday people ! who can relate to any of them? . it's 2022 somehow feel like we are going backwards!

  13. @philiptodd6255

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

No mention of brexit in that discussion I’ve got a feeling we are gonna be dragged back into the EU by the back door now that we’ve got a remainer prime minister and chancellor we need to have a brand new party that stands up for Britain and the people and that’s the reform party

  14. @peterrobierto7435

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

They complained about the eu people being unelected, now we have an unelected PM here, let’s be sensible and have a general election.

Apology accepted for the rookie mistakes. Now let's get on with the running business of the people. I actually like the fact that she has this add-like slow and hesitative way of speaking.

  21. @SharonY515

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

Geez Liz Truss is new give her a chance and people are human and make mistakes. What is important is she is working to fix her mistakes.

  22. @jamiesedgefield5476

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

what is the point of letting her go on until the next mistake she makes? she needs to give way to someone who is competent. Shes a fraud.

  23. @jamiesedgefield5476

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

not enough she needs to go, totally incompetent

  24. @garryharriman7349

    January 24, 2024 at 11:14 am

From a politically neutral point of view, the PM is still a human being. The Tory Party is divideed and in disary and had been for years. Mrs Truss made a mistake, but the issues facing the country, indeed, all of industriazed nations locked into globlalzed free market eccomomies, are huge and almost insurmountable. I would not want her job.

I get the feeling she is feeling it in some way, to say sorry is a big deal even for her. She's made a meteoric mistake/s..and if she survives it'll be amazing!

  28. @johnmarshall3326
