Donald Trump Jr testifies in his father’s fraud trial – BBC News
Ten months after the US-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, the deal has yet to deliver much of its promise: Hamas hasn’t disarmed and Israeli forces continue to bomb Gaza almost daily. Most Gazans still live in tent camps or in the rubble of half-destroyed homes.
But in the most trying circumstances – some are trying to connect to the outside world and make a living with their laptops.
Israel imposes tight restrictions on foreign journalists entering Gaza, so our Middle East Correspondent, Yolande Knell, has been speaking online to local tech workers.

Donald Trump has reacted furiously on social media, after his administration was ordered to stop construction of his personal project, a $400m ballroom at the White House.
A federal appeals court has dealt the latest setback to the controversial project, testing Trump’s presidential authority. He has vowed to appeal to the Supreme Court.
“Whether or not a massive ballroom should be constructed is for Congress to decide and is not a matter for Executive self-help,” the panel’s majority said.
The order upholds a preliminary injunction won by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which sued after the administration tore down the East Wing last year to begin the project without congressional approval.
The three-judge panel, in a 2-1 decision, said: “Each President is a temporary tenant, not the owner, of the White House and its Executive Residence.”
“The President has no – and claims no – constitutionally assigned authority over that property, which is designed and maintained for the use of all Presidents, current and future, and for the American people,” the judges said.
Trump railed against the “horrendous” and “politically motivated” decision on social media, highlighting the dissenting judge’s opinion that the order is “a blatant abuse of discretion”.
He said the military and Secret Service viewed the ruling as a national security threat.

At least 132 people are dead and a state of emergency has been declared after Colombia was hit by one of its largest earthquakes in years.
The death toll is likely to rise, with more feared trapped under collapsed buildings.
The magnitude 7.4 quake struck at 07:34 (12:34 GMT) at a depth of 103km (64 miles) in Chocó province, the country’s geological service said. It was felt across an enormous area, stretching for hundreds of miles across western Colombia.
Many of the deaths have been concentrated in the city of Pereira, in Colombia’s coffee-growing region, with surrounding cities and the Valle del Cauca region also hit hard.

Why did tens of thousands of migrants from Morocco suddenly attempt to cross into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta by sea last week?
In the days since the sudden border crisis left at least 72 people dead, a variety of theories have circulated.
The Trump administration blamed the incident on “radical left-wing globalist policies”, and many European leaders condemned what they say is Spain’s lax immigration policy.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez denied those claims and blamed trafficking gangs. Others have blamed Morocco, and accused it of ‘weaponising’ migrants for political purposes.
We speak to the BBC’s Southern and Eastern Europe correspondent, Sarah Rainsford, to find out how and why the Ceuta crisis happened.
