Its normal to see so many investors panic during a worsening bearish market like this because of their dwindling fortunes but it is also important to note that this market situation is nothing new in the crypto world. Several factors are driving negative sentiments in the stock and crypto market including inflation, recession fears and rising interest rates. Bitcoin has dropped significantly from all time high because of these factors. And another thing to note is that the selling fatigue will wane out and eventually the market will reset. As a crypto investor, this current situation might seem bleak. However, there are several tried and tested expert-suggested investment strategies that can help you accumulate the current crypto storm. In few weeks of implementing trading with accurate signals directly from Mr Gordons, I have been able to accumulate over 2.9 BTC despite the current state of the market.
Creating another source of income in these trying times is important

Nice one👍💯.. But even while gaining money in this market sounds promising, it terrifies me. I began a year ago, but it has been difficult. I know I'll get better with practice, but it's frustrating.

They are going to keep on losing if they don't become more reliable and transparent!! They're looking like a huge scam right now.

If they keep on supporting that risky stablecoin USDC, they are going to keep on losing money

Isn't Coinbase already under investigation by the SEC? From where I am, it appears to be a slippery slope. If the SEC discovers that Coinbase is issuing and selling an unaudited and artificially inflated stablecoin like USDC and other shitcoins, the company will very certainly be forced to close.

I don't know why but they had such a huge loss this quarter, billions in fact, when they were overly confident that they were growing as a company and that they were better than other platforms. Other than that, they have a partnership with Blackrock which was also huge. I think its Armstrong's mistakes that led them here. He had a company in the past in which he had driven to bankruptcy too.

  9. @lorenakato5640

    January 23, 2024 at 2:06 am

These billions in losses may be the reason why Coinbase halted the withdrawals for some coins and staked ETH recently. Though the question is, where did Blackrock's investment go?

It looks like they are going to fail anytime soon. Time to use alternatives to Coinbase. The moment I knew that USDC was completely unaudited, I switched exchanges right away!

Coinbase was intimately involved in Mashinsky's theft of funds from his company. And they didn't even report it. Even misrepresented that Circle or Coinbase had no knowledge of what happened to Celsius when they knew Mashinsky was stealing money through Coinbase. They should be investigated! And I wouldn't put my trust in a platform that fosters such criminal activity.

It is the beginning of their demise. They are unable to conduct transactions because of liquidity issues on their platform. Coinbase, in my opinion, is a massive Ponzi scheme.

  13. @samuelclark7959

    January 23, 2024 at 2:06 am

From what I know, they spent millions on marketing solely to get people to use Coinbase. And in this bear market, they have spent so much that they can no longer afford any of the previous incentives, such as the high interest rates. Coinbase is losing money right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they went bankrupt.

  14. @andrewross4958

    January 23, 2024 at 2:06 am

Coinbase keeps blocking people's accounts and funds for no apparent reason. Coinbase embodies everything that is wrong with centralization and control.

  15. @pattieimabbott9649

Coinbase recommended lower platform transaction fees when it is evident that they cannot afford it. Not with their current liquidity troubles and quantity of lawsuits. They're going down soon if you ask me.

  16. @ernestconner7122

    January 23, 2024 at 2:06 am

I don't believe Coinbase is a decent platform to use right now. Especially with the number of lawsuits they have piling up that are against them.

  17. @brettferguson3815

Coinbase is gradually becoming such a huge failure because of Armstrong's wrong decisions. Sooner or later they'll become bankrupt.

The US government should investigate Coinbase together with all the other companies it has. They should also investigate USDC if its really backed by the US Dollar or not.

  27. @stevens1616

    January 23, 2024 at 2:06 am

No one should trust Coinbase anymore. With the billions of loss they have this quarter, I don't really think they are going to last long in this market.

UK economy faces tough months ahead says Bank of England – BBC News

Published

on

The Bank of England says the UK economy is in for another tough few months but it believes that the impact of coronavirus restrictions will not be as bad as last year’s lockdown and the rollout of vaccines will help the economy bounce back.

The economy is expected to shrink by 4.2 percent in the first three months of this year. However the bank says there could be a rapid recovery from spring onwards.

As the government’s furlough scheme winds down the Bank say the unemployment rate is likely to peak at 7.8% by the middle of the year

Sophie Raworth presents BBC News at Ten reporting by economics editor Faisal Islam.

Suspect Vem Miller, in illegal possession of a shotgun and a loaded handgun, was arrested an intersection near Donald Trump’s rally in Coachella, California on Saturday, police said.

The 49-year-old suspect was driving a black SUV when he was stopped at a security checkpoint by deputies, who located the two firearms and a “high-capacity magazine”.

He was then taken into custody “without incident”, the Riverside County Sheriff’s office said, and booked on possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine. He was later released.

The US Secret Service said Trump “was not in any danger”, adding that the incident did not impact protective operations.

Elon Musk unveils Cybercab at Tesla robotaxi event | BBC News

Tesla boss Elon Musk has unveiled the firm’s long-awaited robotaxi, the Cybercab, at the Warner Bros Studios in Burbank, California.

The futuristic-looking vehicle, with no pedals or steering wheel, deposited Musk in front of an audience eager to hear details about a project he considers key to Tesla’s next chapter.

The multi-billionaire reiterated his view that fully self-driving vehicles will be safer than those operated by humans.

Although Musk is hopeful for production to begin “before 2027”, analysts are doubtful on how realistic this is.
