    as RC said, the SC and lower NI courts followed basic constitutional law doctrine: sovereignty of parliament. However, AF and RC both agree that EU may have been sold a loaded interpretation of the GFA by RoI.

    That is why the Supreme Court ruled that proroguing parliament was lawful, because they always side with the government! Some people have short memories.
