   It's upsetting that this place closed down a year later because those lads really tried to change and took on board everything Gordon showed them.

   I wish his shows like this were more popular than the over-dramatized BS. Gordon is not just my favorite chef, he’s a man I greatly admire for a lot of reasons. This shows a different side to him that those other shows don’t let you see. He genuinely cares about these people (at least most of them) and wants to help them turn their business around and better their lives. Sure, when they’re acting ridiculous, saying things like “our food is a 10/10” when it’s literally fuckin rotten, he gets pissed off and yells. He’s built his entire life trough food-busted his ass for everything he’s earned through it. If you’ve dedicated your whole life to something and somebody disrespects it, you’re going to get pissed off. But when he’s around somebody who actually gives a shit and wants to learn or thankfully accepts the help, he’s more than willing to give it and happy when things work out

   This is how you respect a chef of the caliber of Gordon he helps you if you let him help you he is strict, because his teacher was marco pier white very tough and savage will fight anyone ,and Gordon inherited that desire 😉

    the american spin on a lot of these style shows is jusy so off the mark. Like I xan watch an Americam show about blowing glass, but learn almost nothing about the tradecraft because they focus on characters and drama.
