"Lack of identity" = we don't have a clue because we only give a shit about the big teams that monopolize everything, but this word seems trendy and fashionable so let's just wing it and run with that.

These pundits are gash. Where's Hansen? Lineker needs to take a leap, been garbage for years now.

Having only two PL level players (Krull and Pukki) you are destined to fall like a stone.

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Norwich only really spent 16 million pounds they got 40 million for Buendia so I don’t understand how you can say they’ve spent Money?
Most clubs coming up from the championship
Spend at least 50-60 net look at Villa and Fulham over 100 million.

Jermaine Jenas is the Norwich of football pundits

  11. @sunderwood121

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

I doubt with all the money they’ve earned and not spent, by yo-yoing, that Norwich are in the kind of debt most of the PL are. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

  12. @SamoIsKing

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Sacked one manager who was in a relegation battle and replaced him with a manager who was just sacked by another club in the same relegation battle. Fucking tinpot club, go down and stay down.

  13. @Metis1337

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

im confused, are Norwich owners taking profit from the club or are they just really bad at building a squad to compete in the PL compared to other teams that have come up and stayed up?

  14. @sbgaming7316

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

It's fine, we'll probably see them again in a year or so

  18. @herfy9978

That's why they are called the "YO-YO'S".

The same thing every time and its boring for everyone

  20. @RMorgan7HD

Same reason they go down every season

  21. @PerryDognipz

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Please stay down this time, take Fulham with you. They make zero impact on any premier league campaign.

  22. @fredh1720

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Danny Murphy saying the problem is "sometimes they attack, sometimes they try and defend", I mean that is the point.

They just don't have any really great players, but ultimately it's not that big a deal. Rather go down spending very little than stay up and face bankruptcy again.

  23. @TheFlatCapFromWN5

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

I swear that Norwich don't bother every year just so they can go down, get a nice payout from parachute payments, get promoted and then do it all again.

  24. @erosion271

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Give it a rest. It’s Norwich not bloody united. You all predicted they’d gone down and now you’re acting shocked that they have?

  25. @alxl6385

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Linekar, what a virtue signalling bell end.

  26. @pearcegreatesteverleftback03

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Poor signings? The BBC are guilty of that. Employing millionaire ex players, paying them even more money, just for them to tell us what we already know!! It’s BULL💩

  27. @BlazinBlz

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

let's be real, they're way off the mark

Norwich are a well run club who just don't have the financial power to battle the prem, but are so well run they'll never drop off the face of the Earth in the Championship, the estimated combined net worth of the owners is less than most, if not all, Championship clubs, heck it's lower than all of the known League 1 and 2 clubs with the exception of Shrewsbury (17 million compared to Norwich's 30m) tho there are a lot of unknowns down there

but the end of it is they are the perennial yo-yo club, and honestly, they piss me off cause I support a chasing Championship team in Millwall so PLEASE JUST EITHER BE GOOD ENOUGH TO STAY UP OR BE BAD ENOUGH TO NOT GO UP AGAIN you two Fulham

but to say no identity feels harsh to them, the signings, well they have to take risks every time because they just can't afford to go out and buy the players that they'd want to so risks it is

  28. @AnggaTangerang

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

    Norwich is like :
    Too shit for premier league.
    Too good for championship.

  29. @heyah1447

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Two inconsistent strikers who are injured, one is aging. The defense is awful, which makes the goalkeeper look horrible. They have good young pieces, don’t know how to make them play together.

  30. @johnsmith-vm6hm

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Amount spent in transfer fees assembling 25-man squad – Man City 829.47 million, Leeds United 155.2 million, Burnley 93.6 million, Brentford 71.25 million, Watford 71.38 million, Norwich City 58.77 million. You can talk about identity, grit, and determination all you want the reality is that money is directly correlated to success in the PL. Its not Norwich's fault the problem is structural.

  31. @hicks3749

    January 21, 2024 at 5:33 pm

Identify my arse. Crap team, crap players and they finished last.

  32. @i3alfie647

idc its Danny Murphy having his agenda against Norwich city, tbf we have been woeful but it's whatever.
