There are concerns for the health of the Queen, who is 95, after it was revealed that she met Prince Charles two days before he tested positive for Covid.

It’s understood that the Queen’s health is being monitored and she has no Covid symptoms. However the Palace has not confirmed whether she has tested positive or negative for coronavirus.

Prince Charles, who has contracted Covid for a second time, is self-isolating.

When the Queen of England is in a meeting with anyone, all parties should be wearing N95 masks. That way, those (knowingly sick or not) carrying airborne infections won't be able to so easily tranmit the infection to her or others in the room.

Iceland on track to reject EU referendum as counting nears end | BBC News

Published

on

Iceland has voted against resuming membership talks with the European Union, public broadcaster RUV has reported, with just one constituency’s votes left to count.

It reported that 52.5% of the 188,496 votes so far counted had rejected the government’s proposal, while 47.5% had said yes. Some 9,500 votes separated them.

Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir’s centre-left government promised to hold a referendum by 2027, but brought it forward because of international tensions, including US President Donald Trump’s threats against Greenland.
