Not really read the comments. but i work and pay taxes and i suffer with mental heath after splitting upwith my grriend. it is real. but tbf ppl on the right do tend to say it's lies.

Disgusting ignorance on the part of the presenter. At some point in her life she may very well understand through experience.

I saw your piece on Piers Morgan panicking. Rubbish he reacted to intrusive reporting in a measured and logical way. This sensationalism of headlines is misleading but common amongst Youtubers to get attention and make money from the platform

try doing 40+ years on a Social Security Counter or front line in a tough Job Centre…. then tell me it doesnt affect your mental health ..

Just check their sick records. This fella is talking out of his backside . If they don’t like the job they are working on then they just go sick. It’s easy. I’ve worked with ‘councillors’, they encourage you to stay at home.

The chap with the glasses is clueless in how mental health services work and should do better research before spouting such baloney. Peace

People in this country if they do not start working we're going to have a big problem and years to come too many people in the country playing the stress card

  9. @colinfarrelly2513

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

This is BS the civil service is a bunch of lazy entitled ingrates.

  10. @Iazzaboyce

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

He thinks these people are stressed, because of the cost of living crisis – so presumably his argument is they need more money from the pockets of people who (because of the cost of living crisis) – cannot take time off work. We hear a lot about 'equality' so why not all have the same sick leave rule – if you can't do your job – we wish you all the best in finding something more suitable!

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

This is what you get when you hire woke employees , the left are mentally ill so need more days off ….there has been a study that says the left has mental problems so what do you expect….nobody on my company needs days off because of mental health

  12. @godwynthegael9912

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

Why do you have a communist on the show….😐

  13. @lks6248

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

If they didn’t get paid for the first three days off the nonsense would reduce dramatically.

  14. @DavidGetling

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

Over 40 years ago when I worked for the Home Office in the Police National Computer Unit I ran them out of training programs. To improve my through put I used to punch the cards myself, even using a hand machine at times. I was told off for this, and so slacked off a lot. A few months later I was told that they had noticed a vast improvement since my telling off!

  15. @2aph0d_b33blebr0x

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

Mainly a public institution problem. Nobody ever gets sacked from public services no matter how lazy, or stupid.

  16. @colindarby4745

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

All working from home in the Bahamas I’ll be bound.

  17. @End-Result

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

They made all of those figures up, ofc! Another deranged, bogus attack on public sector workers who have kept us going throughout the pandemic.

None of the civil servants I know enjoy any of the perks mentioned here.

Who is this about? Whitehall officials? Bc none of this has any relevance to the average civil servant.

  18. @philiplindley7384

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

Even if it is a mental health problem the worst thing you can do for it is to stay indoors and just suffer.
You need to get out and interact with others, take action.

  19. @petermach8635

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

Review the performance of ALL staff, sack the worst 10% …… repeat every year until numbers are half what they are now.

In most private sector jobs there's very little leeway given as the job has to be done, if someone's not there the pressure increases on everyone else …. and if you want a "pressured job" try driving on the M1 for pennies above minimum wage.

  20. @markscript5746

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

Essentially this is why nothing gets done

  21. @gjclark2478

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

This walker bloke spends plenty of time slagging off gbn.
Yet here we see him not only having his own platform, gbn elevating him like that Butterworth nutjob………..
Do novara have gbn talking heads on ? No.
Lefties just want to argue and their own way all the time. It's pointless.

  22. @chrish4115

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

    Spot the professional leftist.

  23. @andrewheron2399

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

Because it's so difficult to get rid of staff who take the piss. Not only does this cost the country, but it also affects those staff that are genuinely sick.

  24. @doodlefisher234

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

I can't find a shred of evidence for that 6 month paid sick leave claim. Seems the presenter has pulled it straight out of her arse

  25. @gregmoore167

    January 21, 2024 at 11:28 am

Doing a meaningless job does create stress, so I can see the civil servants not actually taking the mick, and genuinely being lost and needing days off!

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
