Ukraine war: President Biden says nuclear risk highest since 1962 – BBC News
The risk of a nuclear “Armageddon” is at its highest level since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, US President Joe Biden has said.
Mr Biden said Russia’s President Vladimir Putin was “not joking” when he spoke of using tactical nuclear weapons after suffering setbacks in Ukraine.
However, the US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan last week said that, despite Moscow’s nuclear hints, the US had seen no signs that Russia was imminently preparing to use a nuclear weapon.
In Ukraine, the war continues to claim lives with a series of Russian rocket attacks on the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia killing at least seven people, local officials said.

Hawk Fire wildfire in Nevada expected to rage for another two days, say officials | BBC News
US fire crews have reported progress in their efforts to tackle a large wildfire menacing the city of Reno, Nevada – saying the blaze is about a quarter contained.
The Hawk Fire, which began on Saturday, had spread over 15,000 acres by Monday, firefighters said.
Evacuation orders remain in place for 23,000 people, though other residents have now been allowed to return to their homes. Tens of thousands of other residents have been told to be ready to leave at any moment.
Officials are concerned that gusts of wind could drive the flames towards more homes. Unfavourable weather conditions are forecast for the next two days, meaning the fire could continue to burn during that timeframe.

1234 So the dancing comic is going to cause ww 3? Is Russia faced with the same threat that America was with missiles in Cuba?
Dear Editor,
Why is it so hard to understand why Russia invaded the strategic area of Ukraine? Had Russia not removed missiles from Cuba we would have invaded Cuba even it meant WW 3! When East and West Germany merged, we assured the Soviet Union that we would not bring weapons any closer to their borders. Now we surround them with NATO members. The US has 700+ military bases around the world and spends 2.5 times more than both China and Russia combined on defense. Are we reacting so irrational and on the verge of WW3 because Ukraine has the goods on both Joe and Hunter Biden?

The most irresponsible atomic power is USA itself which has dropped two atom bombs on Japan and killed thousands of innocent peoples and still involve in many wars and unrest in the world. Second dangerous atomic power is India where Uranium is openly trade in market but no body raise voice against India.
Resia sent armed force to Ukrain then USA, Europe and other countries imposed sanctions on Russia but India occupied Kashmir with the use of 80000 armed forces since last 40 years but USA and other world do not impose sanction on India

How much money Zelensky has taken? For Zelensky, it has become an excellent business the war. Like always the ukranian people are not better off. -¿Cuánto dinero ha tomado Zelensky? Para Zelensky, se ha convertido en un excelente negocio la guerra. Como siempre, los ucranianos no están mejor. Y todavía los ukranianos pueden sufrir más. Civilians? It seems Siria or Irak. The idiots forgot Vietnam already.

Then stop the posturing Biden and get everyone around the negioiating table. But you don't actually want that do you? This ends with cumunication, concessions and conceading some victories on both sides. Which by the way WAS happerning untill Johnson convined Zelenskyy not to concead anything.

Ahh yes. When the Soviet Union attempted to expand itself a few hundred miles from the coast of Florida. USA got its knickers in a right twist over it. So much for Cuba’s sovereign right to join the Warsaw Pact. Oh but wait it’s wrong for Russia to get its knickers in a twist not wanting USA led Nato doing the same. Let that hypocrisy sink in.
