Now with the recent economy, To get Financial FREEDOM you have to be making money while you're asleep.

The reality is it takes time for these numbers to permeate through and if you have two quarters of negative growth you’ve actually been in recession for a long time

An 80 seat majority squandered by a buffoon.
Every working family in the land impoverished by net zero and all the rest of the shenanigans.
What a legacy Johnson and his wife have left.

More and more pressure is being put on the minority in this country that are net contributions to tax revenues and they are being taxed and taxed again while the govermdnt spend spend spend.

Immigration at record levels, government spending more than ever and yet GDP falling

  10. @johnbrereton5229

The biggest problem for the UK economy is Sunak as Chancellor and now as Prime Minister. He gave away billions in furlough payments, even to his Indian wife who doesn't even pay tax here. How can a man who pays US income tax and hope's to become a US citizen be the PM of Britain ?

  11. @BertoniBertone

    January 20, 2024 at 5:44 am

Perhaps now it’s time – since 1997 we’ve seen what the two main parties stand for – to take the plunge and vote for a party to re-align the UK political landscape?

The only thing that is rising is the number of illegal immigrants piling up here.i always thought it good practice not to give your money away especially when you don't have any. The current government must've been truent from school the day that was taught.

    £2,650 billion of debt.
    £850 billion of QE.
Energy bills due to rise 82%.
    Inflation hitting 14%.
    Mortgages trebled in two months.
    Rail strikes.
    Postal strikes.
    University strikes.
    Nurse strikes.
Crazies glued to roads and bridges.
    Petrol at £8.50 a gallon
    Beer at £6 a pint.
Pubs, shops, churches, libraries, swimming baths all closing.
GPs and dentists impossible to visit.
Hundreds of thousands jacking in work.
Millions of foreigners swamping our services.
House price at 8 times wages.
    War in Europe.
    China in recession…….
    Did I miss anything?

Liam Halligan is the best economic commentator around. His On the Money show seems to have given way to news bites, which is unfortunate as it was excellent.

Jeremy Hunt shouldn't be in a position of power. No one elected him! He can't be trusted to act in the best interests of the country. WEFian

Guess who fu..ked the economy clown Boris and the chancellor throwing money like confetti at a wedding which turned into a wake and a funeral and guess who is promoted now. Regardless of what the Tories say or do I will NEVER vote for them again.

  20. @colinmartin2921

    January 20, 2024 at 5:44 am

Don't believe it; why would shutting the country down for months while paying workers to stay at home, shelling out billions in hand-outs, spending billions on track and trace and unnecessary vaccinations, and printing money like confetti have any negative effect on the economy?

  21. @leetaylor5350

    January 20, 2024 at 5:44 am

This is all a scam. So all the money has been wiped off the face of the earth then 🙄

  22. @justsoup2460

    January 20, 2024 at 5:44 am

The simple fact that most can’t afford diplomatic influence, who are they protecting really ..? I’m feed up with this ToryCartel abusing position wasting public funds for political gain, literally spent more time testing the integrity of politicians meanwhile crippling citizens rights, freedoms, vote and standards of living…!
This is a complete facade of democracy, zero governance of privileged idiots but happy to coerce investment… oppressive economics isn’t something you can apologise for C**T The fact it happened is very revealing of governments intent to promote fear…!

Jeremy Hunt may make it look better than expected to make us think he will be a caring Prime Minister when Rishi is sidelined. They aren't listening to us now, so why should we listen to them.🍻

  25. @andyq752

    January 20, 2024 at 5:44 am

The current UK economy can be summed up in one word, but it would be impolite to use it here.

Current state….###.. and its going to be worse …
More migrants = more busy hotels = good stats for gov — fake figures .
