   Most city Pigeons are dirty but they are easier to hunt. In order to have pigeon for food wild ones that don't live in cities are preferable.

    I hate veal it's the cruel way of eating meat. I've seen the poor calves tie by a chain to the ground. So they can't stand up and gain muscle. It's really vicious I won't eat after seeing the practice.

    I went on pigeon eradication hunts many years ago. We ate what we killed, and I plucked and cooked them like small chickens. Some birds were tough like rubber and a few were tender. It was funny when lead shot would fall out of the cooked birds and roll on the table as we ate them. I like to see how Gordon handles the tough birds in the kitchen.

    I am 100% cool with shooting and eating whatever you want, but having hunted a fair bit, and taken dove and quail before, I was really left wondering why I even bothered with those small birds. I tried to figure if the amount of meat was commiserate to the cost of a shell and decided it probably wasn't. If I were starving sure, I'd eat them, but I will never understand the joy of bird hunting things smaller than a mallard. Is it more just not wasting the product of taking the challenge of a tougher target? I could see that, as those guys are fast.

    We all need to thank Chris packham everyone, for fucking this up for us all so we now can’t get environmentally friendly fresh pigeon that’s good for us. Thanks to a photographers efforts our crops can continue to get destroyed by the huge number of wood pigeon. Thank you BBC gobshite that knows fuck all about the countryside!
