Ukraine crisis: The town where war still rages on – BBC News
The conflict in Ukraine is entering its second year and a ceasefire, nominally in place since February, has failed to stop the violence in areas around Donetsk airport. Among the hardest hit is the village of Pisky. It had a population of 3,000 before the war started, but now only a handful of civilians remain. Fergal Keane has been granted exclusive access to the village, which has been sealed off by the Ukrainian army.

Trump ‘completely wrong’ to restrict support for Ukraine, Italian minister tells BBC | BBC News
Italy’s defence minister has said it was a “complete mistake, a major mistake” for the US to limit access to satellite systems and intelligence used by Ukraine to defend itself against Russian attacks.
Guido Crosetto warned in a BBC interview that any such move by US President Donald Trump’s administration “makes absolutely no sense” and risked prolonging Russia’s full-scale invasion rather than helping to bring peace. Trump has denied asking for satellite access to be suspended.
Crosetto’s comments continue Italy’s sharpening criticism of the US.

Saudi Arabia’s energy minister has threatened a ‘serious’ response to the deadly Houthi attacks on Riyadh’s international airport. Flights remain suspended and are expected to remain so for days.
The Houthis said they launched the attacks in retaliation for “brutal Saudi aggression” against areas they control in western Yemen.
The BBC’s security correspondent Frank Gardner examines how it is that Saudia Arabia – which spends billions on its defence – can not stop the Houthis from attacking its people.

One person has been killed and 11 injured in a second strike on the international airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh, officials have said.
A Saudi military spokesman said a projectile had hit King Khalid International Airport on Sunday, causing a fire in a passenger hall. Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation authority said in a statement that one person, a Pakistani resident, had been killed in the attack.
It comes a day after a strike on the same airport killed 13 people and injured 308 others.
The Houthis in Yemen said they were behind them and warned airlines and passengers against using Saudi Arabian airports and airspace.

One in every six cigarettes smoked in the UK is counterfeit.
In this episode of BBC News Behind the Investigation, Melanie Stewart-Smith talks to File on 4 Investigates reporter Jane Deith about how the team uncovered the global criminal networks flooding Britain with fake cigarettes, and the human cost behind every cheap pack.
Jane explains how the team traced the supply chain from secret factories in Belgium to corner shops, minimarts and cash and carries across the UK.
We also look at why gangs are moving from drugs to fake cigarettes. A former senior Europol official says they now make as much money as they do from drugs, with far lower prison sentences if they’re caught. The profits are being used to fund weapons, people smuggling and even terrorism.

BBC wants you to believe that Minsk agreement is false bcz they want to introduce USA in Minsk format or even smth worse. There few hot spot in the demarcation line, but now instead of 4000 of victims in one month as it was before the Minsk Agreement in 3 monthes just 15 civilians were killed in Donetsk Republic instead of thouthands. So BBC as usual brain-wash abject liar who is propaganding the war. Shame on BBC!!!

To see, not all war criminals and executioners executed, if they still in power and impudently launch the wars, even against neutral countries. Ignoring, not only opposition of aggression, but also common sense. Putin, with his very greedy company, instead of sending thousands of Russians to slaughter, instead of interfering and bombing the peace cities and villages, to force and kill the civilian population of others country, could make a peacefully agreement with the Ukrainian representatives. And offer them the price, or an equivalent exchange of territories.
As it was in India, where Muslim and Hindu communities were at enmity. And after the section, there was Pakistan, which for the same reason was divided, and there was Bangladesh. It is necessary to put these villains, the launched war and arranged human accident, face to face with these people. That the all victims, could spit in their blood-thirsty and ugly faces.

There are some russian army units ( such as artillery, military intelligence, instructors, snipers, etc), volunteers from russia( citizens of russia, they fights for money ) and local pro-russian fans( which fights for money ) fights with Ukrainian army / Ukrainian National Guard and Ukrainian volunteers (which now is joining into army). Also russia supplies to fake "rebels" equipment, weaponry even which Ukraine never had in its army. At the same time russia conducting propaganda to hide this facts. They will never admit guilt. To be sure of this just remember story with cold war USSR and USA. USSR for a long time not admit there guilt of there positions of nuclear weapon on Cuba.
