Masked men have been filmed attacking Palestinians harvesting olives near the occupied West Bank village of Abu Falah.
The footage shows trees being set on fire while gunshots can also be heard. Israeli military vehicles were also spotted at the scene.
According to one Palestinian organisation attacks have affected more than 147,000 olive trees in the occupied West Bank in the last two years.

A Ukrainian man has gone on trial in Hamburg accused of blowing up Russia’s Nord Stream gas pipelines to Germany, four years after one of the most dramatic acts of sabotage in modern European history.
Prosecutors say Serhii Kuznetsov played a leading role in a team of saboteurs that destroyed the pipelines, accusing him of a war crime. His defence has called for the case to be dismissed.
The case is highly sensitive in Germany, seen as one of Ukraine’s closest allies since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022, seven months before the attacks took place.
Extradited to Germany last year, Kuznetsov denies the charges, as does a second suspect who is fighting extradition from Croatia.

Nato is preparing for a new era of warfare, combining cheaper weapons deployed at scale with tougher air defences, one of its most senior commanders has told the BBC’s The Security Brief.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Johnny Stringer said NATO was drawing lessons from Ukraine, combining its sophisticated, expensive weapons with cheaper systems that can be deployed in far greater numbers.

This is typical of the horrific practices that are commissioned at the state level and with no regards to the complexity of the context, history and future of the place. It is the worst gesture for any potential peace building. Life will go on and the people pay the price of poorly thought highly provoking politicised decisions. Our regret and noise will not make a difference unless there is real pressure from influential leaders to protect save the blood of humans in that part of the world.
