A Ukrainian TV station has broadcast unverified footage of what it claims shows Viktor Yanukovych and his advisers fleeing the presidential compound by helicopter. The helicopter seen in the video bears the registration UR-CRG and resembles the shape of an AgustaWestland AW139. Local newspaper Kyiv Weekly reported that a helicopter with this designation had been leased by the Ukrainian government.

Oh I'm sorry. If your the president and your life is in danger, wouldn't you run too? Number 1 priority is to keep the president safe, whether it be from extremists or your own people. Look at the White House, you do something little like sneeze and the president of USA is whisked away to his fortified bunker or onto Airforce One.

More than 670 innocent civilian and people from military service (who were simply doing their job and protecting citizens) were killed by Euro Maydan opposition. THIS IS NOT OPPOSITION, THIS IS TERRORISM ORGANIZED BY THE USA SO AS TO BREAK DOWN UKRAINE and make it dependent on Europe. Ukranians, Belarus and Russian people have always been brothers, whose blood was mixed up many times. Ukranian people dont want to enter the EU, THESE PROTESTS ARE DISBURSED.  STOP BELIEVING THIS FAKE INFO IN THE MEDIA THAT European networks provide you with. EU always interfers in what doesnt concern them.

Iceland on track to reject EU referendum as counting nears end | BBC News

Published

on

Iceland has voted against resuming membership talks with the European Union, public broadcaster RUV has reported, with just one constituency’s votes left to count.

It reported that 52.5% of the 188,496 votes so far counted had rejected the government’s proposal, while 47.5% had said yes. Some 9,500 votes separated them.

Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir’s centre-left government promised to hold a referendum by 2027, but brought it forward because of international tensions, including US President Donald Trump’s threats against Greenland.
