Russian woman rescued from bomb site in Ukraine – BBC News
A Russian-Ukrainian family has been irrevocably split by the war in Ukraine after Russian-born Ekaterina Volkova was injured in an air strike and her Ukrainian husband killed in the same attack.
This was the second time Russia had dropped a missile on their apartment building in Kyiv and Ukrainian authorities said the incident showed Russia’s bombing was even targeting their own citizens.
Russia confirmed firing the missiles but claimed its forces never target civilians.

China has vowed to protect its interests after the US announced plans to widen economic sanctions against Iran and its trading partners, which include Beijing.
Foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian said China was firmly opposed to what it called “illegal unilateral sanctions” and would take “all necessary measures” to safeguard its rights.

It has been five years since the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan, as western forces left, imposing their extreme, ultra-conservative interpretation of Islam on millions of people.
Their return to power brought relative peace to the country after two decades of war.
But Afghan women have been erased from public life. Girls are banned from school from the age of 12, and aren’t allowed to go to university.
Public parks are also off limits to women – and they can’t travel abroad without a male companion.

I don't understand why the West is lying to its own people and to the whole world. After all, from the BBC channel and from all journalists after the end of the military operation they will be asked, asked all over the world. Can you imagine who the journalists who lied will become for the people? Yes, their own residents will punish them, put them in prison, and possibly solve the issue more radically.

Putin does not care weither he killed Russians or citizens in Ukrain, what is important to him is to conquer territories of previous USSR, he is not even interested to bring home the body of his slain soldiers which ware left in the street to rot or be eaten by wild dogs, thanks to Ukranians they pick up those dead russians bodies and give decent burials, Putin does not listen to anyone but himself you cross his line its either you are terminated, jailed or dead, I am wondering why ordinary Russians has the stomach to accept and follow this insane evil man, their husbands, sons, relatives are being drag to this senseless war of Putin and be killed and let their dead bodies rot and declared missing to their families, but even them do not bother to question Putin I can not see good reason why? are they dumb and stupid that they can not comprehend what is really happenning or they are bunch of cowards and conte ted accepting Kremlin propaganda and do nothing, just asking no offense meant.
