Japan’s ex-leader Shinzo Abe dies after being shot at during speech – BBC News
Former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, 67, has died in hospital after he was shot at a political event in southern Japan, according to local media.
Mr Abe was shot at twice while he was giving a speech in the southern city of Nara on Friday morning.
He immediately collapsed and was rushed to the nearest hospital.
Security officials at the scene tackled the gunman, and the 41-year-old suspect is now in police custody.

Abe treasured massive Japanese investments in China and in Russia he made huge investments in Russian oil and gas…
In particular one of Abe's leading missions in his long tenure as PM was to resolve the territorial conflict with Russia. Which over the contested northern islands which Russia had seized after WW2 and by solving that they could finally reach a peace agreement they were still officially at war because they never had a peace agreement and that would facilitate rapid expansion of trade and Japanese investment in the in the Russian far east one of the last new frontiers in the world huge development. …Putin and Abe met 27 times during Abe's administration Abe went to Russia 11 times …at several points negotiations seemed to be absolutely certain to close to be a slam dunk the agreement. The first problem was 2014 the Maidan coup in Ukraine the elected gov was overthrown by U.S. and British sponsorship with the Nazis and soon after that during the year of 2014 Obama and his national security adviser Susan Rice went to Japan met with Abe and railed at Abe and threatened him that he must join the sanctions against Russia ….people close to Abe confirmed that Abe since that time had visceral hatred for Susan Rice ….he did agree to impose sanctions they were sort of symbolic they didn't have any particular economic impact….but he was forced to stop the negotiations with Putin. Susan Rice is now Biden's director of domestic policy council leading advisor to the Biden Administration…and she's a killer she was proud of the fact that she was one of the leading forces that disbanded a full scale military assault on Libya for no reason no threat to us . .. Gaddafi was not threatening anybody but she led that proud fight a genocidal war and the assassination…she's a killer keep that in mind.

He was very close to people in Japan, so friendly, had warm heart, knew what was good and bad, was so pure.
