   You know what, I'm not a fan of Steve Bruce, but with the team he has inherited he's done a pretty good job! They just need some consistency and changing managers every season isn't going to help things

    Steve Bruce is not a "fantastic manager", he's a bloke that you bring in to keep you in the Premier League, who never wins anything. Rafa Benitez is a proven winner at the highest level. Phil Neville is also thick as pig shit, he took the England womens team backwards, and has nothing to offer as a pundit, apart from cliches, and over hyping his pals 🙄

    I wasn’t a fan of Bruce when we brought him in but as his record stands I feel he does now deserve a chance under new ownership. His stats may prove to be better then Rafa but his choice of player recruitment may not be as good, Rafa brought in dubravka,Schar,Rondon,Almiron which Bruce has now inherited these choices Rafa made, Bruce has brought in Joelinton which looks to be no better then Joselu.

    He is doing better because he was actually given money and mike actually invested in the summer with saint maximan and joelinton, benitez was not backed properly and he ended walking away.

    We have played terrible football all season. The results that went our way, 90% of them weren't deserved. He has no doubt done a good job. But you can't really "exceed expectations" when no one had any expectations in the first place

    Phil Neville your just like your brother, You haven’t got a fucking clue. Bruce has had Lucky season. You can say we’re slightly better off but we’ve scored far less and we play some of the most boring football in the league. As soon as new owners come he needs to be out the door if we’re gonna move on otherwise it’s not gonna get better on the pitch simple as that.

    Couldn’t be more wrong, if you look at our results across the season you can see that a lot of the games we have been incredibly lucky (1-0 vs Man U, 2-2 vs Man City, 1-0 vs Spurs, 1-0 vs Chelsea and the list goes on…). Furthermore, we’ve played some of the least attractive football I’ve ever watched and have been stuck in 5 at the back for the entire season except today. Finally, we constantly have injuries due to Bruce’s outdated sport science being used in training. Bruce is a lovely bloke but a terrible manager and he always makes dumb decisions that somehow work. I would take Rafa or Poch over Bruce in a heartbeat because I would rather play positive and progressive football than “Park the bus” for an entire season
