Indian food can be as complex and sophisticated as you can imagine. Just a simple look of gravy may consist of up to 10 or more spices and ingredients, and all the dishes and recipes are inherited for more than thousands of years, just like the Chinese.

Halal…food of Muslims in India. Gordon Ramsay would simply use the recipe & sell it for 50× the cost, in his super fancy restaurants… no?

Chef Imtiaz might be bullshitting about his fathers age, but everything else he said is true! I could tell since I live in this country. Weddings in India lasts for several days,so it is possible to invite 50k to 100k people to a single wedding. Stop whining my British friends. 🙂

It seems the comments section are spouting negativity, as usual. The old man (chef) is from a time when birth certificates in India were not available for all people. His father may have got his certificate sometime later in his life and there is definitely bound to be some errors.
As for the 50k people for wedding, usually wedding caterers take multiple orders. An old fashioned big fat Indian wedding would have around 5k people for ordinary people. As the so called "social status" of a person increases (eg:businessman, high minister) the number of wedding attendees can be 10k.

Gordon You are not making Biryani You are "LEARNING" from them in India. Okay…Please Change yr Title. It's completely misleading & You taking credit from this video. ANyway I am sure You can't make it like this as You are shocked, amazed  & confused after you have been there.

  27. @rohandavid9941

    January 16, 2024 at 8:33 am

There's nothing traditional about this Biryani… as a matter of fact, it's an exaggerated version of a simple BIryani cooked for Mughal soldiers during war time, out in the battlefield !

    January 16, 2024 at 8:33 am

love u  chef you are the most precious chef in the world as precious as our sun
