Last night marked the unofficial start of the 2024 award season as the Golden Globes took place – and if they are anything to go by, it’s going to be a very good few months on the red carpet.
There was an excellent turnout of gowns this year, from bridal-inspired fashion to archival highlights, plenty of sequins and more than a few standout silhouettes. Jennifer Aniston proved the power of simplicity in her Little Black Dress, while Carey Mulligan made a case for the fishtail and Hunter Schafer turned heads in her dramatic train. Meanwhile, Rosamund Pike made a case for the red-carpet veil.

The Rosamund Pike ensemble was freaking incredible. Emma Stone's dress was gorgeous, too. Then Elle Fanning. But clothes is just an accessory, you need the proper "attitude" to really pull it all together. Fanning excelled in that regard.
