Reaction to your ad #sparkcreativity
Good ad. It certainly #SparkCourage. It inspires creative new ideas! It gives hope. It certainly has a good intention to support creators.
But in reality, it is not the fact. There are lots of exhausting gatekeeping processes you have to go through before you even become eligible to access these government funds. Or you may have to hire a consultant who might charge you $500/hr to help you understand these complexities. Well, it is good!
But hey! if you are an emerging producer who is struggling to make an end meet or new immigrants, then you don't have massive funds to hire a consultant or have a lot of time to know the over-complicated processes. When you approach an organization to bring reform in the process, they'd forward existing resources to you which has no use to you. When you try to do it yourself, you eventually get confused and frustrated!
Certainly, this ad #sparkcourage and hope until it becomes frustration and despair.
