   stop hating. the cheeses are extremely delicious and probably expensive. completely melting it would change the flavor and degrade the cheese

    The cheese was the wrong type, the cheese was too thick, the bread was too thick, your pan was too hot, you burned the bread, and you failed to melt the cheese. You absolute donut!

    I don't know what's worse. The solid blocks of unmelted cheese, or the fact he put an incredibly thick sandwich into a pan that has burning oil in it, or the fact he didn't remove the pan once it was of temperature which is essentially like turning the burner up to 11.

    Id rather eat the ghetto grilled cheeses I made as a kid…toast some generic 79 cent white bread, throw a couple kraft singles in there, microwave that sumb***h for about 30 seconds, eat it over the sink so you dont make any dishes lol

    People gotta overcomplicate stuff I guess.

    here are the SINS :
    – using not melty cheese
    – thinking that thickly cut country bread is the way to go
    – Spicy texture (wtf is that ?)
    – drowning a pan in olive oil
    – cooking on a raging fire in a very hot pan
    – not covering it up or adding a drop of water for optimal cheese meltage
    – doing such a basic yet pretentious version of a grilled cheese as a TV chef
    – no technique taught, just unique ingredients
