A free market economy where public money is moved into the pockets of donors via non-contested contracts during a crisis.
    Laughable.

This is like saying "Has the Federal Reserve become a private company which has no reserve"?
I mean duh. They've been big for many decades. They are just becoming more powerful now they call the shots in a pandemic.

We dont have a free market. The central banks and big hedge funds centrally plan the economy. Its the cantillion effect.

But 99.6% of people survive the virus without the “government stepping in” with lockdowns, social distancing, masks, vaccines, furloughs and emergency powers that he is such a fan of. How about a free market in making our own decisions?

I think a lot of people are cynical and beyond to the point of despair. I think Governments have little say in the matter, but are in the pay or threat of the real masters, the so called 'elites' and mighty leaders of the big corporations world wide. Have the economists not noticed this, and the fact that they are both hand in glove because elitists make their money from such ventures, even to the point of crimes against humanity, as was proved in the last century when they were all hand in glove making blood money, not giving a damn about whose blood, but faciitating the whole thing? They say history doesn't repeat itself, the answer to that will be heard at Nuremberg 2. Are they not noticing so many CEO's stepping down recently world wide, don't they wonder why? Perhaps Ms Maxwell coud enlighten us.

This guy is weird. A free market doesn’t have a Government closing down businesses, paying out subsidies and threatening peoples freedoms if they don’t get the jab.

I’m relaxed about businesses making money as long as they earn it without Government intervention and creating markets that shouldn’t exist. Hurrah for the pharma companies who created the vaccine, but then they didn’t release it to a free market like they do the flu vaccine. Instead the taxpayer was forced to buy it through the socialist Tories.

A.I. facial recognition tool to detect adult migrants posing as children

Published

on

By

An AI facial recognition tool that aims to detect adult migrants posing as children will be deployed at the UK’s borders next year.

The software will estimate a person’s age by analysing photographs of them taken at the border.

The Home Office says the technology will make it easier to identify adult migrants “attempting to game the system”, after initial testing indicated “promising performance and accuracy”.

But Human Rights Watch urged the government to scrap the scheme, describing it as “unproven technology” that will undermine the protections vulnerable children are entitled to.
