The Battle over Abortion in Northern Ireland – BBC News
Unlike the rest of the UK abortion is illegal in almost all circumstance in Northern Ireland. Campaigners hope a new Appeal Court ruling will help change the law so women can have abortions in cases of rape, incest or fatal foetal abnormality – at the moment even in these cases it’s illegal. They say the result has been made all the more significant by the likely Conservative – DUP political deal. BBC Reporter Catrin Nye has been meeting the people fighting for change and those that passionately oppose any change in the law.

US hits ‘dozens’ of Iranian sites in strikes, as Iran targets US bases in region | BBC News
The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.
“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.
In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News
President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.
He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.
Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.
Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.
The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

New explosions near Iranian port cities, says state media | BBC News
Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.
It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.
The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.
Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News
The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.
Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.
President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

Unfortunate experience for this lady, but tearing a baby out of the womb isn't care – the poor wee thing may have been treated better AND this is not a case to make pro abortion as this type of case is rare. Women are not getting fair, balanced counselling about abortion or about the long term mental health issues from having abortion. Too much human opinion.

This argument is obsolete. With the internet and the free exchange of information from all corners of the globe so that effective, affordable, natural and safe methods of inducing miscarriages, once fairly secret, are now available to all. Each of us are now free to live by the dictates of our conscience on this topic

This is a bigger issue than you would think. The main roles of government is to protect human life and property. Woman and Dr's don't get to kill the unborn children. If the child is endangering her life thats an issue covered by the law already!

Abortion is none of my business, and none of yours either, there are thousands of anti abortion campaigners, who come out and protest and wave placards, I'm the only one in Ireland campaigning to get a free drink of milk and a nutrition bar to all children at school, these campaigners shout about the right to life, while they probably adorn themselves in gold jewlery, that gold was cut from the stomachs of slaves that took a piece to feed their children, Shame on us all

TRANSCRIPT OF /
Mother Teresa Prays the Rosary for life in Knock Shrine / June 1993
1/FIRST DECADE OF THE ROSARY
Life is a precious Gift of God/especially the life of the unborn child/he or she is living member of the human race like you and me/ created in the image and likeness of God/ for greater things to love and to be loved/
we pray to Our Lady that all may come to realize that no church , no government or mother
has the right to kill the unborn child at any stage of(since)its conception.
2/ SECOND DECADE OF THE ROSARY
Let us ask our lady that our people in Ireland may turn in deep confidence to the Father
especially for the courage, light and strength they need when facing moral decisions to protect life
/ The family that prays together stays together and the nation that prays together stays together as gods own family.
3/ THIRD DECADE OF THE ROSARY
There are so many things in our lives that we will live / open deep down there is suffering guit and shame./let us ask the spirit of love to open our hearts to return to confession..to the sacrament of reconciliation./.to the open and loving arms of our tender father who says..welcome home my son..my daughter..I love you..I forgive you.
4/ FOURTH DECADE OF THE ROSARY
Jesus in the bread of life is our source of unity ..adoration of the blessed sacrament is a beautiful means of coming to the feet of Jesus to heal our brokenness- our lack of love ..our lack of forgiveness..let us pray specially that unity may be restored to those families who are broken and that the leaders of our country/may always protect and safeguard the sacredness of married life by never allowing divorce
5/ FIFTH DECADE OF THE ROSARY
May Our Lady of Knock / Queen or Ireland/ Immaculate Heart of Mary..Queen of the world./protect the people of Ireland./.may we cling to the rosary as a child clings to the hand of his mother..and She will lead us closer to the Heart of Jesus..as She too cared of the precious life of Jesus for 33 years..may She protect our children..from the evil that threatens God's life in them..
___________________
Let us make one strong resolution/..that in the beautiful country of Ireland..no child will be unwanted/ If we not have abortion/ and no contraceptives/ there are many families that need but naturally cannot have a child..and with God's blessing I have been able to give to 3000 families a child to love and to care../so once more..let us promise Our Lady who loves Ireland so much ..that we will never allow in this country a single abortion/
________________________________________________________
Mother Teresa on abortion
But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion; because it is a war against the child/ a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself/ and if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another/how do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion/ as always., we must persuade her with love, and we must remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts /Jesus gave even his life to love us/ so the mother who is thinking of abortion, should be helped to love, that is, to give until it hurts her plans or her free time to respect the life of her child/ The father of that child, whoever he is, must also give until it hurts./ by abortion the mother does not learn to love, but kills even her own child to solve her problems./and by abortion the father is told that he does not have to take any responsibility at all for the child he has brought into the world./that father is likely to put other women into the same trouble. /so abortion just leads to more abortion./any country that accepts abortion is not teaching the people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want./ that is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion

Why do rich White girls get ahead in life? Because they got abortions when they're young! They get pregnant but they still want to go to college, so they just cheat the baby out of a chance at life. Mexicans are told not to cheat. If they get pregnant they have to raise the child, while White girls get to go to college and probably have a bunch more abortions!
Trump cheated to win and nobody cares. Trump proved that in America it's okay to cheat, as long as you cheat your way to the top.

That pro-lifer answer to the question of abortion being allowed under the circumstance of incest, rape and a terminal birth defect was just wishy washy bullshit.
No substance to the argument. I can see how you can get away with the argument against rape and incest – but a terminal birth defect? The child is as good as dead. It is on a life support for 9 months and then it is dead. One could argue that each day it exists it is suffering. So how can you paint that circumstance with the same stupid brush that you use for the other 2 circumstances?
This fact shows us that she cannot think critically or objectively about anything. She is clearly a godfag that has simply made her mind up, and she would answer the most complex questions with the same answer.

We all know Northern Ireland is at least 15 to 20 years behind the United Kingdom, they all have the average IQ of 60 over there. You have to wonder about a populations mental capacity who decide to riot over a piece of cloth being removed from a building and try to tell people what to do with THEIR own body. A truly backwards place.
