Russia’s Putin blames West for war in Ukraine in Victory Day speech – BBC News
Russian President Vladimir Putin has addressed a Victory Day parade in Moscow’s Red Square, saying that his forces in eastern Ukraine are “defending the motherland”.
He told crowds that the invasion of Ukraine – what he called a “special military operation” – was necessary and had been provoked by the West.
But Mr Putin did not make any major announcement relating to the war, including declaring victory or a full-scale mobilisation.
The annual Victory Day is one of the most important holidays in the Russian calendar and commemorates the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.
Parades have been taking place in 28 cities across Russia, involving 65,000 people and 2,400 items of military hardware.

Putin wasn’t wrong about blaming the west for the war happening. Had the EU and the western powers left Ukraine alone, Putin wouldn’t allow himself to send the Russian army troops to invade Ukraine.

Russia should bring about an effective victory in the war in Ukraine
Now Russia is expected to bring about an effective victory in the war in Ukraine, it is a fact that the West is looking day and night for the war in Ukraine in order to defeat Russia, and they have paid any price for their wealth. This is evidenced by the poor economy of their countries, which started bringing all their livestock to Ukraine, just to defeat Russia.
1. Russia must completely destroy the capital of Ukraine by bombing it from the air and the ground. It must end this war in at least sixty days.
2. Russia is expected to win, because it is not acceptable to say defeat, Russia should not accept defeat.
3. Russia is supposed to destroy all the cities of Ukraine and turn them into black graves.
4. Russia should use the highest level of weapons and land on every city where the Ukrainian army is present
5. Russia must destroy and annihilate every battalion or group of the Ukrainian army.
6. Russia's culture is not that Russia should be defeated, it is not written anywhere that Russia has been defeated in the history of Russia, so it is expected of President Vladimir Putin to bring this war to a victory that the people of Russia will appreciate and sleep on.
7. The West is determined and they want to win the war in Ukraine, to invade Russia is the plan on the table and they have planned to invade Russia next year, and the United States is pushing behind that. British, but there is a mistake in the calculations they have made and they want to invade Russia, they do not take into account that nuclear power is the one that will be used in this world.

This is unsustainable for Putin showing he is way out of his limited capabilities. I will repeat the only way to stop this war is to hurt Russia. Putin will keep going if we don't start hitting targets in Russia. He still sits high and dry, as does the kremlin and Russians! Putin has proved he is a useless KGB agent; do we have to put up with this maniac, or are we finally going to stop him? One sick man against the world, and we do not know how to handle this psychopath, is a good reason we must look at our weak capabilities; this is going far beyond normality!
