    Aguerooooooo

  13. @iim1030

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

Aguero was bought for £38m was 23 years old at the time. David Silva was bought for around £20m. Everyone else in that squad was bought for next to nothing back in those days and somehow when they were a lot of points behind their biggest rivals with only a couple of games to spare, they did the unthinkable and turned it around in the most dramatic fashion ever witnessed. They won it in the last minute on goal difference (!), and that was won in the 6-1 victory at old Trafford with mario Balotelli's iconic Why Always Me? celebration. Even captain kompanys header in the derby with 2 games to go and Toure's late brace against Newcastle, all those things led to the greatest ever finish. It marked the end of an era for one club and the beginning of another. It cant NOT be Agueroooooo.

Which great Premier League moments from the last decade did we cruelly overlook in the MOTDx shortlist? Let us know below.

  23. @alisteell

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

Yes I’m a united supporter but I’m going to have to disagree with putting Gerrard’s slip over Sir Alex retiring, which literally shocked the entire footballing world and United haven’t recovered since he has left, whereas Gerrard’s slip wasn’t the real reason they lost the league that season.

I would also have rooney’s bicycle kick over Ballotelli revealing a shirt 🤔.

I can’t disagree with Aguero’s last kick of the game to win the title as the defining premier league moment of this decade, but an honourable mention to Leicester for winning the title – one of modern sports greatest stories 👏

  24. @fujitoratheadmiral3092

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

Leicester winning the Premier League Title was lacks of dramatic scene, and the word we called MOMENT has to be more dramatic scene in it, then peoples would get goosebumps every time they remember it.

    No one:

    Absolutely no one:

MOTDx Presenters: One of the worlds best strikers scoring a last-minute goal for one of the richest clubs in the world to win them the league is less likely than Leicester winning the league, after almost being relegated, at 5000-1, with their entire squad costing less than each of the top clubs biggest signing that summer.

  30. @danhewett6086

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

On a personal level i would say SAF's last game only because i was there. That day is an "i was there" moment for me, i remember watching him walk over to the United fans for one final time, i saw a great game of football and i saw us put 5 past united which i never thought I'd see. I can literally give you a detailed account of where i was, what i was wearing and what i did during that day

  31. @elijahtchilembe-mpovie2715

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

Leicester City winning is one of the the greatest moments in sports history

  32. @johnrogers6945

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

Agueroooooooooooooo And I was there. I will never see anything like it again .. Just can't be bettered.

  33. @rayburge1965

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

If it's a moment ….It has to be Sergio Aguero winning the Premier League with the last kick, of the last game having been 1-2 down in injury time, needing to win, head to head with local rivals having not won the league for 43 years …. such drama… As the commentator said… "you will never see anything like this again, so watch it, drink it in!"

  34. @alanlyall4470

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

I’m probably biased being a city fan I was there that day and Martin Tyler said it all I swear you will never see anything like this again almost the last kick of the season the hairs still stand up on the back of my neck every time I see it.
Taking nothing away from Leicester a deserved second for an incredible season

  35. @MrUnstoppable69

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

It's got to be Leicester winning the league. Man City winning the league was amazing. But come on we've seen teams winning the league on the last day before, how often do you see a team among the favourites for relegation win it.

  36. @Oscxr_-fq7nj

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

Leicester winning the title is first and the Aguero goal second for me

  37. @markmurthen7068

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

"Could it ever happen again" – he says. Well it happened in 1989, in a much tighter contest. It's Leicester for me. What do these guys know….?

  38. @blakenewton9536

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

If only Leicester had won the league with aguergo moment

  39. @Barlofontain

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

I know it's about the Premier League, but the Aguero goal, was very similar to Mickey Thomas in 1989

Not only was it the last game of the season, but it was the top two teams playing against each other and one had to win 2-0, away from home… Which they did

So the Aguero moment is more common than a team like Leicester winning the league

    So it's Leicester for me

  40. @stephbrown.2696

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

That video was basically "Fuck United" wtf. So any of our moment get to 2nd round?

  41. @tdyerwestfield

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

I'm a Liverpool fan, and if it's anything other than Aguero's last minute winner V QPR in 2012, the greatest PL moment of all time, then it's wrong.

  42. @richardobrien9497

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

How has Mitch got a job?

  43. @omzdinho5737

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

An overhead kick in a Manchester derby while city were on the rise and they're surprised. Some clowns 🤦‍♀️. How lifting a shirt up beats that goal by Rooney is beyond me.

  44. @JK_JK_JK_JK

    January 9, 2024 at 11:34 am

Stevie G will always be remembered for that slip! 😔😞😢

  45. @JK_JK_JK_JK

It has to be Leicester winning the Premier League Title! 😎
