   If you don't think Ronaldo is the best, you're either deluded, lying, United/Madrid/Juve hater or rival or just insecure over his looks and confidence. He's done it all. Played in 3 of the best leagues. Won ballons & CL'S and two separate clubs. Scored 42 goals on the wing in a 4-4-2. He can play in any system and still he the best. He has the mental side along with the talent and goals. He doesn't get the privilege of playing with Argentina, who've always had better players and have won more trophies than Portugal otherwise there would be no debate whatsoever. There shouldn't be one. Ronaldo returns to the PL at 37 & scores 18 goals in the toughest league in a bad team before hand. The best. The greatest of all time!

    No contest for me he was the 🐐 before the world cup and now he has won it he is even more so Lionel Andres Messi Cuccitini the best player to ever play the game (I have so much respect for CR7 though great player truly great in my Top 10 easily).

    Messi is definitely the best player of this generation, and now he's won the pinnacle trophy in a players career the world cup he's probably cemented himself in most peoples minds as the GOAT, Ronaldo as brilliant as he's been will forever have not winning the world cup hanging over him when it comes to the GOAT debate

    I don't think i've ever watched a game involving Ronaldo where i've just thought 'wow', maybe the overhead kick against Juventus. It's only when you look at his scoring records you see just how ruthless he is. Messi does it on the regular, every single game he does something that makes me question exactly what he just did. Ronaldo's a goal freak, Messi's a magician. I could watch a game involving Messi where he doesn't score and he'll still often be man of the match, if Ronaldo isn't scoring he may as well not be playing.

    3:12 and this is where it comes from. So they both score goals but Lionel messi's an elite dribbler and an elite passer. And what ? cr7s not ? This is the biggest argument given against cr7 in the media and its the biggest Slander you can think of for anyone who's watched him play.

    The debate is over. Ronaldo has never scored in a World Cup knockout phase, he’s not even in the top 10 all time great players. Messi is currently in the top 3 if he wins the World Cup with Argentina he’ll be the GOAT without a doubt

    Messi is easily the better the footballer. His ability to dribble, score, and pass is amazing.

    Ronaldo is more focused around power pace and speed, but it is also amazing at finding pockets of space.

    In prior years, I would say that Ronaldo is the more adaptable of the two, and can fit more team structures than Messi, but this has changed in recent years with changes in tactics, with sides preferring a less direct possession style of football.

    The only area I feel Messi lacks is big game moments, I do struggle to remember many moments from Messi in the last 10 years where I was on the edge of my seat, but I remember probably a good 5-10 off the top of my head from Ronaldo. But I don't watch their local leagues as La Liga is not very marketable anymore (used to be shown loads in early 10s)

    I think Messi just tops over Messi. I believe they’re equal although this season Messi is proving himself worthy internationally and I think Messi is the best in the universe, although Ronald’s is the best in the world. The have minor differences and both have great ability.👍
