During the 2019 Election Campaign, Johnson spoke a lot about his Oven Ready Brexit Deal, suggesting that should he win election Brexit could be resolved very easily. The problem for him is that a year later and with negotiations delayed again, some are questioning if this Oven Ready Deal ever existed. In this video, we explain why negotiations were delayed & what happened to Johnson’s Oven Ready Deal.

The oven ready deal really efers to the leave bill and not the trayed deal which is dessert and not the same bill.

    It’s deliberately misleading at best

Oven ready deal comment was referring to the withdrawal agreement not a trade deal somehow the remoaners and Labour Party loonies have managed to forget this

    January 9, 2024 at 2:12 pm

You know what – I think they DID have a deal, but the rest of Europe just hadn't agreed to it… you can have dozens of "oven ready" deals that way….

In the Nissan factory he is asked by a reporter. If the oven ready deal is including a trade deal. Johnson ignores his question and does not differentiate between the 2. This is deliberately misleading at least or they thought they had a trade deal. Which they did untill they voted to kill that deal in the commons. You make it sound like there is still debate but there isn't. You would have to pretend video evidence does not exist.

Boris the Betrayer is doing a May the Traitor . We are not leaving the EU. It's in name only.

Bet he feels like he is in the oven now.
Was Brexit used to get us out if the EU, before money laundering laws came in so the rich (like Boris) could continue to hide their money?
I heard it was why independence was used so strongly as they need to be away from linked laws before this happens….anyone know?

Initially I thought they might have been intentionally misleading. However, I remember last year the votes going through in parliament on all the different withdrawal agreements and amendments and what not. They'd be talked about on the news and 'political chat shows'. They'd always refer to each different option as 'deals'. For instance some would claim that Borris' deal was just a rebrand of May's deal. Then at the time if the campaign the whole reason for Boris calling the election was because he couldn't get his deal passed. And the whole focus was on a withdrawal agreement not a trade deal. And the withdrawal agreement was commonly referred to as a deal. So yeah I'm no fan of Boris but I genuinely think this is the media and other parties twisting the narrative a bit.

Also just thought of this. Us leaving without a withdrawal agreement was referred to by every politician, every party, every news outlet as a 'No Deal Brexit'. If you played a drinking game watching the news around that time and took a hot every time they said no deal (in reference to leaving without a withdrawal agreement) you wouldn't be able to walk by the end of the programme.

The trouble with the oven ready deal is that one or the other has to be in the fcuk%ng oven. Which of the two Powers ( The European Union or The United kingdom ) has the greater leverage ? Its a no brainer. All for a few fish representing 0.1% – at most – of our entire gross income.

I still can't believe how gullible people were to believe any of Johnson's lies.

If they meant the "withdrawal agreement", then they would have called it an "oven ready withdrawal agreement". They called it the "deal" to purposely mislead the public and win an election by deception.

Sorry what? I thought it was obvious Bozo was going to force no deal so Farage and his parasite hedge fund managing chums could engage in some more disaster capitalism…?
The Tories never intended to get a deal. I'm amazed anyone even thought Bozo was even remotely sincere. He's a Tory. You can't trust anything they say. Ever. Period.

  37. @heliumfreak5364

The oven ready deal has nothing to do with trade talks. And your an idiot if you ever thought that.

  38. @Anon-xd3cf

    January 9, 2024 at 2:12 pm

Incase it is not entirely obvious…
Everything Boris says is written for him…
Even his joke about "not being a very good cook" and the set up to that punchline being the confusing of "oven ready" with "microwavable"
That "joke" was repeated multiple times on different occasions… Like a shit standup comic on tour.

Why am I getting notifications that this video was uploaded 5 hours ago…
I watched this the day it was uploaded…and it's come up in suggestions multiple times…
Why am I still getting notified that this is a new upload?

  40. @frze5645

    January 9, 2024 at 2:12 pm

What's the problem here? Johnson's oven ready deal was a 'free trade deal' – it just required that the EU understand the principle of sovereignty – which the EU is finding difficult to accept. The UK will eventually win out here proving that BREXIT was the right way forward.

  41. @Tom55data

    January 9, 2024 at 2:12 pm
