At least 600,000 people in Ukraine are without electricity after deadly overnight Russian missile and drone strikes, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
For the second night, Ukraine received no early warning from its partners that an attack was imminent, he added.
At least six people were killed in the strikes, and 21 injured, and officials said that access to the Starlink communications system was restricted overnight.
The attacks come after US President Donald Trump’s claim on Sunday that an “energy ceasefire” was in place between Russia and Ukraine.

Has the US reduced the amount of intelligence it shares with Ukraine? That’s the accusation from President Zelensky, after a second consecutive night of Russian missile strikes – that hit targets in Ukraine without any advance warning from allied-intelligence.
At the same time, Ukraine has accused Elon Musk’s Starlink of imposing restrictions on the speed at which some of Ukraine’s weapons can travel and stay connected to the Starlink internet network. It’s caused disruption Ukraine’s ‘battlefield missions’, according to the government.

Ukraine has stabilised the frontline as Russian forces have suffered too many losses to advance, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Kyiv’s former commander-in-chief has claimed in an exclusive interview with the BBC.
General Syrskyi was in charge of the Ukrainian army until his tense relations with the defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov forced President Zelensky to dismiss them both last summer.
In his first interview since his sacking, general Syrskyi told the BBC’s Abdujalil Abdurasulov how in his view Ukraine is containing more powerful Russian forces, why military success is key to reach a peace settlement and how new technologies are transforming the war.

Zelensky says Russia hit Ukrainian power plant after Trump declared energy ceasefire | BBC News
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky says Russia hit a power plant in Ukraine “immediately after” US President Donald Trump announced what he called an energy ceasefire.
Zelensky said Ukraine is willing to back an energy truce if Moscow does as well, adding that it could “become a major step toward ending the war.”
So far, the Kremlin has not commented on the idea, which could see both sides pausing attacks on each other’s energy facilities.
Trump has been urging Ukraine to stop strikes on Russian oil infrastructure so Moscow can fulfil a recently struck deal to release diesel to the US and the global market.

Russia has become the first country in the world to perform an autopsy (post-mortem) for a Covid-19 corpse. Manaus is one of the poorest major cities in Brazil and thus it's nothing particularly unusual that its hospitals are overwhelmed, they are frequently overwhelmed every flu season for instance. Brazil is well known for having an inadequate public healthcare system, especially in a poorer city like Manaus.
The most funny part is the so called "mass graves" where like 250 people are buried, literally the number of people who die every single day in a city of 3 million. 4k people died? Yeah sure, just like the inflated numbers in the west, categorizing normal deaths are covid deaths.
