I think that no matter what the political spectrum is, the moral one is far more important not only for germans, americans, russians, englishmen, ukrainians and etc. and see each other as people in spite of costs and benefits. Did Trump's America first policy made America richer? I do not know – i am bulgarian and am uncertain of what the US' GDP was and is right now, but i am asking – DID HIS POLICIES STOPPED TERRORISM??? NO. That leads me to the opinion that humanity's problem's root is far deeper than immigration, economy or riches – IT IS ROOTED IN OUR MORALITY AS A WHOLE, drowning in fear, which feeds from the words of politicians who want to keep us separated and keep the circle of blindness, preventing us from realising that if every american christian nationalist was born in Iran, he would be an iranian muslim nationalist, while if a human is born in America – HE WOULD REMAIN A HUMAN – EVEN IF HE WAS ACTUALLY BORN IN IRAN, but are YOU ready to give up YOUR americanism, englishness, germanism and etc so you can become a HUMAN ???

Hmm, it seems to me like you have a negative majority on this matter independently of what deal you'd have had. You have people who will vote against anyway and then the rest is split into groups who think the deal is too close to the EU and groups who think it is too far away from it. Since you cannot simultaneously make both happy, the election would always fail.
That leaves you with no deal brexit, by inaction if nothing else, or completely reversing the whole thing, which even the EU might not want at this point.
Honestly, I'm happy the UK is leaving, they have always only been a break to further reforms or European consolidation.

Sometimes I wonder, was Brexit just an inside job to put the UK in a lower position and make them accept the euro and join PESCO.

There is no such concept as too much kicking of UKIP, whether they are "down" or not. Those nativist xenophobic asshats share a huge chunk of the blame for this whole Brexit clusterfuck! Leaving the EU was a stupid idea to begin with. Don't get me wrong, the EU isn't exactly a shining example of governance, but that doesn't mean undoing 50+ years of cooperation isn't a good idea either. So I (for the one time in my life) agree with the LibDems and just have a second referrendum and hope the UK populace see the lunacy in Brexit and just remain.

You are completely wrong regarding the Dup not wanting a border with the rest of Ireland, they do and have stated so several times

eyyyy today is the day when brexit is voted on ( i think )
if not then ill look extremely dumb

  14. @abp1400

    January 7, 2024 at 3:43 am

lmfao! now may has taken the extraordinary step of delaying if not outright suspending the vote! this is incredible! what i don't get is how the hell can she even ask the eu to re-negotiate if she won't even put the agreed upon deal to a vote. if i were the eu i would say "drop dead! we won't offer you a thing until you put up the current one for a vote. if that fails, then we can talk, but by you not voting on it, forget it. we won't give you anything!!"

  18. @liamscott555

Ukip lost credibility with their new leadership and dangerous swing towards alt right views and support of Tommy Robinson, not to mention their claim to be libertarian when they hardly match that now, hoping the Libertarian party UK makes some ground though.

  19. @michaelgomesvieira1039

    January 7, 2024 at 3:43 am

If the DUP support Brexit but don’t want a hard border perhaps they believe a border solution to be possible. It’s not easy to dismiss them as ignorant either, they cottoned on quickly to the legal ramifications of May’s deal

  20. @antoinedubois8349

Seriously guys, enough. Get out! We really don't want you back

ukip are not worth mentioning now that they've become a racist party and joined with the edl.
