What we know about the Moscow drone attacks – BBC News

Published

on

Russia says Ukraine has launched “a terrorist drone attack” on Moscow, with several buildings damaged.

Speaking on Russian state television, Putin claimed the attack on Moscow was a “response” to an air strike against Ukraine’s military intelligence agency.

It is the first time Moscow has been so heavily targeted in a single operation, but Ukraine denies carrying out the strikes.

The US has said it does not support the drone attacks in Russia, as Russia’s Wagner group hits out at the Kremlin’s defence ministry for not doing enough to prevent such attacks.

The West hates Russia as much as a predator hates prey. The West has an animal appetite for Russia's natural resources.

The End of Russia. Doomsday prophets would never guess that Moscow would be attacked by an army of drones coming from Ukraine. By the way, who taught the tactic were the Russians. Moscow has never been attacked. But now thanks to its dictator Putin's idea to use drones, Moscow is under attack. Hitler wanted to wipe out the Jews. Putin wants to wipe out the Ukrainians. But what they didn't count on is that instead of disappearing, the Ukrainians spread around the world. Now no one else can finish.

I don't like either. Ukrainians have some pretty shady history dating back even the past 20 years. Iraq and Afghanistan for 1 the UK definitely caused some serious civilians casualties with the bombings. The US would've done the exact same. May not have intentionally target3e civilians but civilians were killed in some brutal bombings. Non combatants were also at some instances known to be tortured . I am fro.vthe UK but even I know not to spout about a war 22oo mile away. Any way no one is invading tgis island anytime soon. Get an island and you'll have the beat nature defense ever the sea that creates what would be classed as a moat for us in the UK. Why does no one invade the UK? Because you don't spank the brits. You may get the odd win. But we will come back and bring you down yo your knees. We don't do surrendering like Churchill said. Also in ww2 we had yo evacuate our evacuees to our own countrywide. Ukrainian men a d women are running away from the fight and expecting other nations to just open their arms to them. Didn't see that same courtesy for us British in ww2. My grandad could user that you know. But he didn't and he and many other men from this island stood against the wrath and might of the fabled Nazi war machine. We literally saved our own ass. Battle of Britain being 1 major example. We lose at times. But we do it gracefully. Russia on the other hand have went full on Norman Bates and the only possible reason is for the return of the USSR or Soviet union as it is now commonly known. Putin is not Ghenghis Khan or Hitler. Hitler actually looked up to Ghenghis Khan and he admired us brits. Can't say I'd say the same about that Nazi piece of sh*t. However, Ghenghis Khan was possibly the greatest military commander of all time. Kill a man and you are a murderer. Kill a million though and you are a conqueror. The Greatest mortal conqueror of all time in terms of land mass conquered was the Great Khan. Yeah, not kublai. The Great Ghenghis Khan and his horses of the Steppe or however it's pronounced or termed. Great man to his people but a brutal monster to all others. The more people keep saying Putin is like Hitler or like Ghenghis. The more it will then go to his head as it did with Hitler. But remember just because we think he's a monster doesn't mean his own people will. The Ghenghis Khan paradox. Great man to HIS people. A Monster to OTHER countries people though. Yet he is loved by most in history. You see history is only ever written by the victor. Was that Napoleon who said that? Or was it perhaps attributed wrongly to him? Either way. Both the Russians and the Ukrainians will have to go to town and whoever wins. Well, wins. That's the nature of the planet. It sucks. But unfortunately war makes money and money makes this spinning ball go round. So you do the math. Do you want to give Putin a bigger head than he already has or do you want it to dissipate when one or the other nation wins or loses. That's all that will happen. There won't be parades of world domination. As it won't ever likely come to that. I've seen no examples of Putin expressing a view that he should be leader of the whole world or want to go about conquering every nation on earth. Hitler while spewing peace talks was actually rolling tanks through multiple different countries. There is a big difference in what Hitler did back then and what Putin is doing now. One is going to town with his neighbour over a dispute. Let them squabble. The other was the most atrocious piece of sh*t ever produced by our species. Adolf Hitler or as I call him Adolf Shitler. But the cliffhanger quote still stands. You kill a man and what do you become? A murderer. Kill a million and what do you become? A conqueror. That is just a basic fact. It can be seen as mass killings or whatever. But in actual fact. You become a conqueror. However, we in the UK need not worry. This island has the greatest natural defense ever! The humble moat and add to that the Scottish highlands and we have the high ground. So don't try it! Did anyone see the small obi wan reference in there? I thought it was a nice touch on such a harsh and serious subject. The BBC ain't exactly news either. They covered for Jimmy Saville or Jim'll as we know him over here. So their impartiality goes out the door. That is just propaganda at its finest. I don't hate the ukes or Russians but it's a dispute between their nations. Not this kingdom. Anyone saying any different. Grab a rifle and go over and see what happens. You'll be brown bread. But everyone wants to be a hero. Don't they. The spotlight syndrome or hero complex personality. Don't like the opinion. That's fine. But I won't be changing it just yo fit anyone else's. However I am open to other opinions to see what others think will happen. Students of history will realize that people going for world domination don't really last very long. Besides Ghenghis. Most conquerors die. So Putin will surely know this. He will die at somepoint. It won't be an assassin or hitman as this isn't Agent 47 and a computer game like Call of Duty. He will die though probably of either old age or some ailment as we will all have ailments that comes with age or the wear and tear of our time on this planet qnd it starts to catch up with us. But make no mistake. Vladmir Putin is not the Lazarus and fortunately or unfortunately he will not be coming back from his death. Fortunate for the Western nations but I am not so sure that all Russian people would say that. They'd probably see it as unfortunate as he is their leader rightfully or wrongly. Also one mans twrrprist is another mans freedom fighter. Food for thought though. Good luck To the Russians. Good luck to the Ukrainians. Its a battle between the the Naughty Neighbours. I've gotta feeling that you guys are going to need it. I dont agree woth Vlad or Zelensky. Both are politicians. Well, with Putin that ain't exactly true. Wasn't he FSB or some shit like that. Zelensky though is a comedian. Both are idiots and would get laughed at by the Great Khan. Brutality is a tactic. Terror tactics is another one. Ghenghis Khan would've been classed as a terrorist to the Chinese. But not to the Mongols. Try to see that I ain't a supporter of war. But I understand it will always be a necessity as war makes money and the banks all over the world will be loving this war. Arms dealers? Loving it. War makes more money than many other things. It's not right and it sucks. But it will continue over disputes until the end of days
As people will always have disputes so there will always be a war where one is willing to hold a dispute. Even on the street. You have a dispute with somebody and you could be going for a blade match. And, when the shanks come out. That's when the streets turn from quiet suburb or slum to a deadly warzone that can only be quashed when either the authorities come in or one man outlasts the other. Which is either put him down or you are getting put down. It's that simple. Not everyone fights with fists either. So it makes it even worse nowadays. Fights will always happen. Wars will always happen. Is it right? Most likely not. Is it a fact though? I'm afraid it is.

Do not look to the following sources for truthful news. The worst of the worst are CNN/FNN in the US and BBC in England. These Media & Print News colluding with Western Governments about the origins of this war in the heart of Europe. CNN/FNN, BBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, FOX, PBS News Liar/Hour, Bloomberg News, FT(financial times) TheNYTimes, Washington Post, WSJ, The Sun, The Guardian, Rothschild Media of Associated Press, Reuters No News Service, The Economist. All of the above companies have gone (TRANS!)
yes, they have transformed from so called information companies to Public Relations Firms lobbying on behalf of Zelenskyy & Co. (International thief & murder and leaders of the most corrupt government in Europe). Zelenskyy was backed by a Jewish Oligarch in Ukraine who put this little troll in power. Today, Zelenskyy is doing everything he can to stay in power.Sacrificing young boys, sent to fight seasoned Russian solders! Zelenskyy gave the order to blow up the damn in Ukraine just like Biden gave the orders to blow up Nord Stream 1&2!! Like father like son. Imagine, Biden a feeble lunatic with Hunter & his adopted little troll Zelenskyy!

PC Andrew Harper’s killers to stay in jail | BBC News Exclusive

Prime Minister Andy Burnham has told the BBC that PC Andrew Harper’s killers will remain behind bars as he announces changes to the early release scheme aimed at easing prison overcrowding.

In an exclusive interview with BBC Breakfast, Burnham said anyone convicted of manslaughter will be excluded from changes brought in under the Sentencing Act, which would have made the killers eligible for early release.

Burnham said extra prison spaces would be created by deporting “hundreds” of foreign prisoners and releasing some inmates serving indefinite sentences.

At least 27 dead and hundreds evacuated after strike on Kyiv warehouse | BBC News

Published

on

Twenty-seven people have been killed and almost 400 evacuated after a Russian strike hit a warehouse near Kyiv, triggering a fire and a series of explosions.

Regional governor Tymur Tkachenko said a further 42 people, including four children, were injured after the Russian drone strike in the Bucha district.

An investigation has been launched into whether ammunition was being stored at the site, where search and rescue operations were ongoing early on Saturday.

Russia’s Ministry of Defence said in a statement that its forces had targeted “an ammunition depot” in the Kyiv region village of Myla, which stores “components and launch boosters for FP-1/FP-2 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles”.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the strike, saying that more than 300 emergency respondents had been deployed to the strike area.
