Johnson’s Race Report Explained: Is Racism Still a Problem in Britain? – TLDR News

Published

on

Earlier this week the Race Report published by the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities (and commissioned by Johnson) was published. The report delved into the state of race in the UK and how it impacts British life, schools, employment, and more. In this video we unpack the report, explain what conclusions it reaches and what it tells us both about the country & the government.

There’s racism everywhere. There’s a concerted effort by specific ideological groups to portray the least racist countries (most multicultural, most welcoming) as being the most racist, yet completely ignore highly homogenous countries with low immigration that are fiercely racist and unwelcoming.

Where are my comments? I had put in time, effort and energy to write them and you hide them, it is an example of institutionalised racism.

Racism is a big issue which is not been dealt honestly.

Britain has these reports, Acts to show the world how good it is to make race relations law, in fact race relation act in Britain was copied after adopted by USA.

Then they show to world we have these ethnic minority law centres etc., to fight cases of ethnic minority people. The truth is often these organisations suffer from extreme corruption and biased, by biased I mean who hold positions in these organisation there recommended cases are taken while other are always told no money.

One of the worst example which I hope the First Minister of Scotland should do is close West of Scotland Race Relation Community or something. Since I knew of this organisation including ten years of absence and so far, the head remains a same councillor Abdul Razque or something, who always have this excuse that there is no money , if that is true then shut it up or you are sitting here for your jobs?
Once I tried to use ethnic minority centre like old commission of Race Relation they will always say no chance of winning when I fought myself and won, they are completely shameless and have no dedication to cause and there main objective is their own jobs & welfare.

One example will be quite helpful in understanding that at present they are no more than symbolic is that they take donations from very employers against whom they have to take the case. East Renfrewshire used to give to ethnic minority law centre £ 2000.00 and remained confident that no case will be brought against it, so is the harsh truth.

Often the solicitors in old Commission were either poor are as said above had no interest in the case. A case was brought against now a days flourishing supermarket, and solicitors of Commission hardly did any job, all was done by complainant. The selector of supermarket claimed that he is fellow of CIPD and have proper equal opportunity policy that was in response to questions prepared by complainant, the solicitor of Commission called and said there is no hope of win, when the complainant told her see their equal opportunity policy paper , they Calum it was ten years old and see the phone number stating with 0141 , which was recently done in Glasgow as they are caught lying. She went back to them and what the complainant caught she told to solicitor of supermarket and they at once got ready to settle the case outside tribunal. Many more examples like this. It does not matter whether the solicitor is white or from ethnic minority both have weakness. For instance the ethnic solicitors are mostly sharias and afraid of repercussion of their fighting the case. Then law school in Britain have nil students admitted to law. The ratio of ethnic minority solicitor is nil as they have to work with firm for two years, which none give them. One company hired a female solicitor of ethnic origin only that fact came out that employer wanted to use her for sex and it became a case by itself.

Very complicated and short on time. Or their are dozens of reasons for ineffectiveness of Race Relation Act , it’s clauses often conflict with each other. Like in one clause it forbid racism on certain grounds only to leave a loophole in further clauses to give chance to employers to escape. Wicked in short. What is justification of a person who has done double MA or MSC only to be forced to take a job in call centre. Shameless.

Well, as far as employment is concerned, anyone with the right set of skills will be employed by the company as long as he/she is profitable for the company. The owner won't worry about the race of the employee, as long as his work contributes to the millions made by the owner.

I was sure the USA was screwing up more than the UK in recent months, but with the new votes on criminalizing protest to the point of "thought crimes" becoming reality, drugs in parliament getting out of control, possibly the sparks of civil war over the borders of Ireland, and now a government sponsored report calling slavery "a Caribbean Experience" I feel like we're in for one hell of a season finale on the real life Game Of Thrones series UK vs USA

  9. @Michael-mh2tw

    January 7, 2024 at 10:11 pm

'Unconscious bias training' is pseudoscience. It is hocus-pocus bullshit used for PR reasons, used for marketing and for political sway. There is no such thing as 'unconscious bias', it has been categorically rejected by actual studies.

  10. @Michael-mh2tw

    January 7, 2024 at 10:11 pm

I agree with the report, even though it's quite clear that a government that produces it's own report to investigate itself will undoubtedly find they do everything fine.

If anything minority groups get more pay and advantages then white people especially in government jobs

    Yes

  14. @mobster24451

    January 7, 2024 at 10:11 pm

I like the logic of white unemployment is 2% so now let's add a bunch of different groups together that adds up to 7% of course if you add a bunch of people into one category while having one in the other the group likely is higher it like the population of Michigan is high but did you know if you add Ohio new your and Texas population together it's more than Michigans we must need to move people around

    1. When did whites eradicate racism
    2. What is the process and procedures
    3. Where are the Dr's, clinical works ,proven research ,rehabilitation center's etc.
    4. Or do you just want to just make is a socially palletable dessert

The labour response to this report makes me want to vote Tory or even further right, and that's the worst part about this for me.

  18. @TheUndulyNoted

    January 7, 2024 at 10:11 pm

Marsha's comment at 8:30 essentially is claiming that because covid kills more black people there is institutional racism??? It's a fucking virus for god sake, how insane can you people actually get?????

  19. @TheUndulyNoted

    January 7, 2024 at 10:11 pm

Imagine being self-proclaimed anti-racist, but then being angry at a report demonstrating racism has been largely defeated

  20. @victoriousko1

    January 7, 2024 at 10:11 pm

You don't need a report to tell you that. You just need to be from an ethnic minority and live here for a little while to tell you what no report could.
If the government really wanted to find out if that was that finding was true, hire consultants from outside of the UK to get an accurate determination.

  21. @frenchdasxies-2420

    January 7, 2024 at 10:11 pm

There is no racism in England, me come from the Caribbean in 1949 ,England has been so good to us.
