With all the problems facing the people of the UK, it’s hard to believe that the media are still talking about an arse wipe like Farage.
It does not represent millions of people and most of them are visiting food banks not his bank

If they are changing the laws next week, you can be sure Nigel now has immense political power. Because the more they ignore him, the stronger his power base.

How much will they pay this crook. Farage would not be crying this much in his beer, if he wasn't getting anything out of this. Once a money grabbing crook always a money grabbing crook

Too late for apology… the criminal act has already been committed! No matter how much the crook disguise itself to be prestigious… still remains to be a crook at the end of the day!

Prestige isnt something people can flip flop with and not lose it all! Prestige is about the consistency of ones principle not for someone's convenience!

Politicians should not hold bank accounts if they are the law. Making politicians hold bank accounts will make them use the law to destroy the banks. Democrats are criminals upon a republic.

Should never of apologised. They made a commercial decision that considered Farage to be toxic and association with him would discourage other customers (oddly enough, blatant xenophobia is still pretty unpopular).

It's a bit late for an apology I think after they discussed his personal affairs with the media, lying about the reasons for his accounts being closed. You expect better from a private bank and if I had an account with them I would not be happy about this whole sorry mess at all.

This is financial advice and I never give financial advice: DONT LEAVE DURING THE BEAR. If you don’t want to invest…learn. If you don’t want to learn…build. If you don’t want to build observe. DO SOMETHING…other than leave. There is so much opportunity here. Take advantage!

I'm fairly sure they aren't sorry for any of this, they are worried about their image after this all became public knowledge and the potential economic consequences.

    January 7, 2024 at 11:46 pm

What a load of nonsense about one man’s bank account. Just Farage doing what Farage does, grifting along.
Making headlines where there are none. Total non story.

There's some serious issues going on in the UK at the moment. The Tories have pushed millions of working people into being poorer, the economy is failing. The Banking affairs between an individual and a private company, who can choose its customers, is irrelevant. This proves what the establishment's priorities are; protect the interests of their multi-millionaire and billionaire friends and ignore the real issues that are having an effect on millions of us.

Has there been a GDPR breach? Have they reinstated Nigel Farage’s original bank account? Certain banks have been trying to recruit celebrities so they have gone down the Marvel Disney Budweiser route believing this is the way to do it forgetting this is not a great business strategy.

  25. @stevec9218

    January 7, 2024 at 11:46 pm

I bet a lot of people are really regretting taking on Farage?

Scary times…I watched this video and retweeted a Leo Kearse joke, then when I checked my NatWest account I had a huge overdraft!

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
