For anyone without a mortar and pestle, if you have a coffee grinder you can use that if you have whole spices. Don't put something fresh in there like garlic though.

I'm not sure how you have frequent leftover risotto around. If I'm making arancini I'm going to have to make fresh risotto. I'm not sitting around making risotto all the time and I eat it when I make it.

With the pork and prawn balls, for the broth I would have added fish sauce instead of soy sauce, and I would have used bok choy rather than spinach. Spinach isn't really an again type of vibe to me.
