Do most of us agree? Did we before this propaganda push? Once these neocon/neolib fools have wrecked our economy with this attempt to weaponize the global financial system against Russia, they'll tell us we supported their actions so we can't blame them.

Fukuyama's "end of history" was not a claim that nothing would ever happen again. His contention was that the liberal democratic state was the ultimate and ideal form of the nation-state and nothing better would ever be conceived.

  22. @aion5837

The US dollar will no longer be the global reserve currency which spells the end of American global financial hegemony. The uni world will split into at least two parts. America has done this to itself. There are even some financial experts in China who cannot understand the depths of such stupidity, but China will of course, be one of the beneficiaries.

  23. @Enl1thened1

    January 6, 2024 at 7:09 pm

The world was warned about rising prices 3 years ago and those who can have been prepping, OK so war has accelerated it now, but, no'one ever listens, and, even now people will moan and sit on their hands, self sufficiency has been the buzz word that 90% ignored

the uk government are loving it….. coining it in from increased tax revenue, if they were bothered about us plebs they'd knock the tax off temporarily

  26. @Kefuddle

Yeah, we really nailed Russia with our sanctions. Before the war, Europe was paying Russia $200m/day for gas. Now Europe is paying Russia $600m/day. Not bad work if you can get it!

Also not reported. Along with Nordstream 2, Biden also killed the EastMed pipeline project from the Middle East with consulting any of the parties. Although only in design phase, it was intended to relieve the dependency on Russia in Europe. So it looks like we have all sleep walked into a world where the USA once again controls the worlds energy supplies…whilst we concrete up our bore holes.

Always ask where the real power lies, and who stands to benefit. Question everything, and trust no one. We're being gaslighted once again, another western orchestrated chain of events, where once again it's the people that will be affected, whilst those who really control all continue to thrive, How much more proof do people need.

  28. @charliemopic470

    January 6, 2024 at 7:09 pm

    So be it.

    Russia created this issue.

Morally, we have a duty to stand with Ukraine 🇺🇦.

    January 6, 2024 at 7:09 pm

Will be funny if some western or other countries have their people chuck their governments out over this. These sanctions just seem to hurt normal everyday people around the world make is so we can't afford food or fuel its madness why are they punishing us we didn't attack anyone
