The Ukrainian volunteers picking up guns to fight Russia – BBC News
In the east of Ukraine, where fighting is intensifying, the armed forces are increasing their efforts to train volunteers to reinforce those on the frontline.
Many of them have no military experience, but are being told: “Even if you have never picked up a gun in your life, your country needs you.’

UN cuts aid to 500,000 Gazans over funding shortfall and other stories | Global News Podcast
The World Food Programme says it will have to drastically reduce lifesaving food aid in Gaza because of a lack of funding.
Overall the number of Palestinians helped by the United Nations agency will drop by about a third from 1.6 million people to 1.1 million.
The agency says it urgently needs $450m over the next six months to sustain critical operations in Gaza and the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

I just found out Ukraine is using volunteers from the USA and other countries as cannon fodder not equipping them to fight using them for suicide missions are they really are friends ?
