Could war in Ukraine spread to Moldova? – BBC News
The situation in Ukraine’s neighbour Moldova, where the Russian-backed separatist territory of Transnistria is located, is under increased scrutiny after a series of explosions.
According to Emma Ashford of the Atlantic Council, the region of Transnistria, where the explosions occurred, is one of the frozen wars of the post-Soviet zone.
”There’s always the possibility of things heating up again in a frozen conflict,” she added.
The BBC’s Ros Atkins looks at why there’s concern that Moldova could be drawn into the war.

Republik of Moldavien has to send Intel an soldiers to suport Ukraine.
This is a direct threat to Moldova.
Moldova has to start admiting this danger and start helping strongly because it is in it's interests.

I have been to Moldova dozens of times. Very recently also (more recently than those on here). Firstly, there is little sense of a Russian "invasion" into Moldova. All is calm. The Ukrainian refugees stealing their jobs is more of a live issue for Moldovan citizens. Second. The issue there is that there are a lot of Russian speakers in Moldova Who identify more with Russia in any conflict. A lot came from the east of Ukraine, which hates the regime in Kiev. They will not only refuse to fight for Zelenski in Kiev. They will actively resist it. Which is one reason why their pro-EU president is shit scared of any such war in Moldova. The country will then have its own civil war.

As a Romanian, this much I can say, Moldova has split off and become its own country we respected its boundaries and its right however Russia's policy about moving people to colonize areas they purged of its local populace is something that is not being taught in schools, that is were the major problem lies
My best advice move all of those out of that region and back into Russia, if they are so fond of them,

If anything Moldova should keep a sharp eye on Transnistria. As far as Russia itself attacking? I doubt it… Putin doesn’t have enough Men, weapons, equipment or money to fight Ukraine as it is. He can not handle fighting against Moldova and Ukraine at the same time.
