at the begining of 2016 1 pound was =1.4 euro. it is now worth only 1.12-1.15, isn't this a big problem for the EU?

    January 4, 2024 at 2:15 am

If we don’t pay the bill and the EU decides to punish Britain with sanctions on trade and such, it will be very bad for Britain but when other countries within the EU and outside of it see this the EU will receive international condemnation for punishing a countries right to leave and organisation and what we will see is more countries leaving the EU.

UK rising public and household debt , increasing number unable to afford living costs and massive amount applying for new jobs . The answer is , to The left , get more poor people in from third world and have the gov share rich peoples money.

Well if they don't pay they are breaking an international agreement, as such Spain could take back Gibilter breaking his agreement with UK.

Trump did say that the uk can’t just crash out because it would be stuck and the uk can’t be stuck, the uk must find a solution. So yes, crashing out is not an option. Also many companies will leave the uk and this will be a major disaster for the uk. Also the idea of a divorce bill for leaving the EU was a British idea in the first place lol.

No way Hose! Pay them nothing.

Its sadly old news the EU owes the UK a rebate which rather than asking for the UK GOVT should knock off the EU divorce bill

  23. @pinchermartyn3959

    January 4, 2024 at 2:15 am

EU finances have never been audited. Of course all of UK assets, ie buildings and infrastructure in EU and still in use for years to come that UK has helped build needs to be taken into account.
