Titanic sub: Search teams race against time to find missing vessel – BBC News
Search teams are racing against time to find a tourist submersible that went missing during a dive to the Titanic’s wreck on Sunday.
Five people were onboard when contact with the small sub was lost about an hour and 45 minutes into its dive.
The rescue operation is continuing in the mid-Atlantic but there has been no sign of the vessel so far.
US and Canadian agencies, navies and commercial deep-sea firms are all helping the rescue operation.

Tens of thousands of people are demonstrating across France, in protest at what they say is under-investment in high schools.
Some protests over the past week in France have turned violent, as protesters and authorities clashed.
French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu said: “Burning down a high school does not improve the state of high school buildings. Lynching a teacher does not help replace teachers”, adding it is a “lie” to suggest the government had ordered “police repression” against demonstrators.
Our correspondents report from the scene of the protests. In this video…

Voice-operated care robots are being marketed at older people who spend most of their time alone at home.
However, there are also concerns that technology pretending to be older people’s friends actually makes things worse.
CEO and co-founder of Intuition Robotics Dor Skuler said: “As humans we have a lot of social needs, we have a need for companionship, we have a need for social interaction and we felt that technology has reached a point where an artificially-enabled robot can do that.”
Retiree Beryl Voss explains why she uses care companion robot ElliQ at home and how it works.

Donald Trump says the United States will not attack Iran ‘at any time’ before the midterm elections at the start of November.
His comments follow US media reports that the Pentagon was preparing plans for fresh strikes and a return to combat operations.
Elsewhere the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen attack airports across Saudi Arabia, with smoke billowing over Riyadh as the conflict continues to escalate.
And the USS Abraham Lincoln returns to California after a record-breaking deployment to the Middle East, which was plagued by reports of low morale and attempted suicides.

The Houthis in Yemen have attacked the presidential palace in the port city of Aden – the seat of the internationally-recognised government.
Meanwhile, President Masoud Pezeshkian has told Iranians that the country is facing its most intense blockade since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and has accused the US of seeking to provoke public protests.
The Saudi-led military coalition fighting Yemen’s Houthis says it has intercepted a missile in the Medina region. The Houthis have threatened more attacks on Saudi Arabia but have denied carrying out this one.
Finally, according to reports, the US is considering using its biggest non-nuclear bomb against Iran if President Donald Trump should decide to renew combat in the war that has hit a deadlock.

Success is not built in a success, it's built on failure and it's built on frustration. it's built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

Though the manufacturing company of Titanic are murderer's and the explorers deliberately took a suicide exploring mission, no other ship or sub ship should bear the name Titanic, God so much hate that name Titanic.

I’m wondering when people start to understand the Titanic is not a tourist attraction 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ leave it alone … also 5 rich one died from stupidity even paid hundreds of thousands for it 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ and a whole media full with them … but hundreds of people die from starvation daily world wide and nobody gives a 💩or the large earthquake in Turkey earlier this year … it wasn’t reported that much too
