    An hour with tinfoil on, then another 30 minutes without.

    After you take it out the oven you say that its important to take off the tinfoil with 30 minutes to go.

    That's not chorizo, chorizo is different so it should say spanish sausage look up the difference between them

    I just realized I have been making the stuffing for a while, great northern beans dried not canned if there is time, and tomato paste, Cento if you can find it dried tomato is hard to find and $$$, and now I remember where I saw it. Is there any better GR short than this? I want to see it.

    That chicken skin needed to be cooked uncovered for longer to be crispy. That wasn't even crisp. That shit was as limp as a wet noodle and as pale as Casper the ghost.

    My favorite recipe I'd like to share is:

    Step One. Tell Gordon he is a good boy.

    Step Two: Turn Gordon upside down, naked, on his head and spread his legs. Kind of like a T shape.

    Step Three: Drop a garlic clove from a height 1metre above said bumhole.

    Step 4: Using physics and counting skills, count how long said Garlic takes to hit the bottom of the realm.

    Step 5: Bedtime

    I made this tonight! Even my 5 yr old granddaughter loved it. The sausage dressing was Amazing! Very easy to make! Thank you Gordon!!!! This was the best roast chicken I have ever made.

    I set out to compare Gordon ramsay's recipe to Heston Blumenthal's roast chicken recipe. After 9 years I've finished cooking Heston's style of cooking chicken and am just now watching this. Looks good, can't wait to try it

    Tried making this today (i'm not very good at cooking) and I would appreciate advice. The 2kg chicken had great texture but tasted plain and under-seasoned, even though I rubbed the whole thing with salt and a tsp of paprika. I have a smaller roasting pan, but tried to add the same amount Gordon did and it tasted like watery lemon at the end. Also when i baked it at 200c for its last 30 minutes with the foil off, the top of the chicken wasn't even browned. Ended up with a lot of slippery skin. How do I get it to crisp? I tried broiling for 5 min and it almost started to burnt but it crisped one half of the chicken okay.

    At least the stuffing came out amazing.
