US hits ‘dozens’ of Iranian sites in strikes, as Iran targets US bases in region | BBC News
The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.
“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.
In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News
President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.
He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.
Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.
Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.
The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

New explosions near Iranian port cities, says state media | BBC News
Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.
It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.
The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.
Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News
The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.
Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.
President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

And really, the War in Ukraine? That’s a massive stretch even for the BBC.

Biased documentary. Went to the poorest neighborhood in the country to record a documentary. Yes, 1/3 of the country is poor. No, not 1/3 of the country eats from the rubbish. Pandemic had nothing to do with it. Ukraine war has absolutely nothing to do with it. 1950's Peronismo and USA politics did this to Argentina. This is not new. By 2020, Argentina was already 70 years into this easy to predict outcome. If you're going to point a problem and blame the wrong reason ( like the pandemic ) then i guess it make sense this is called "news" because its not history nor truth. Without the pandemic, Argentina will only slow this outcome for 5 or 10 years at least, and end in what you see here. But be sure. Was the Peronismo, and the unstoppable years after years of corruption.

The liberal media blames the condition on everything except the actual cause. The war in Ukraine has nothing to do with Argentina. The cause is Democrat socialism. Argentina had a very bright future until socialism. Then the liberal media convinced the people that a socialist system that took money away from the wealthy would make there lives better. This is the lie told over and over that causes so much misery. The liberal media has blood on its hands.

I will pray for our brothers and sister in Argentina to be blessed with a better life. It's so sad to see that countries with natural resources let their people down. Since, I was a little girl I saw and witnessed USA helping the people of South American with food supplies, the problem is these countries don't distribute this good donation to the people and need. In my country of birth, I witness governments' warehouses selling this donation to the people. Shame on them. I'm so blessed to be a USA citizen and for the opportunities I have and my children. God Bless USA. Thank you for all you do for others.

What really going on I can't really write about it because one it gets blocked, and second I will get attacked by my free speech , what will I say is that Argentinas who see them selfs as White , but are mestizo are very racist, and because of there racist believes they are being attacked by another group of people that in control, that what really happening, if you don't believe or think what another group wants you to , they attack you. That what I believe my self, if you look at these people picking trash , there mostly mestizo , non white.

A citizen from Concordia here, the city depicted in the video. The situation shown by the journalist is heartbreakingly true (and, I tell 10:06 you, things are even worse in some areas of the country). However, she falls short when explaining the reasons behind it. Of course, nobody in their right mind will think that all these slums appeared as a result of the pandemic. Although the lockdowns did exacerbate the situation, Argentina has been undergoing a structural crisis throughout the last 4 decades at least. Though there are myriads of concurring reasons, the most prominent are the following:
– The government spends way more money than it has. That results in inflation, which makes all of us poorer every day, and hits these families the most. However, this big government ideology is deeply entrenched in a large share of the populace, making it difficult to correct this pressing issue.
– Our system is strongly anti business and anti merit. Our labour laws are amongst the most stringent in the whole wide world, and taxation is suffocating. Hence the difficulty companies have in creating jobs and expanding their operations, which results of course in high unemployment and poverty.
– The government disincentives hard work and progress. Because of that weird scramble towards “equality”, throughout the last decades the educational system has lowered its standards, resulting in young people having fewer skills, which makes our economy less competitive. Besides, government agencies are always eager to hand out subsidies and other forms of economic assistance without any obligation whatsoever on the part of the receiver. Therefore, as crazy as it sounds, it is economically advantageous for many families to just get a poor quality job and receive government handouts than to get education and struggle for a better position.
I hope my country starts to change course this year after the elections, and that the rest of the countries don’t fall for the lure of left-wing ideas because, I tell you, it’s a collision course.

The social problem in Argentina was not caused by lockdown. The argentinian economy has been going down for decades, especially because of popular choices made by irresponsables political leaders. There is no prosperity if the government focus is only give money throught social programs. It is necessary in some way, however there is no magic or miracle. People need job oportunities to earn money and sustain their families.
May God help Argentina !
