Best of the haute couture fashion shows: autumn/winter 2021 | Bazaar UK
Thursday evening saw Valentino wrap up Couture Fashion Week in spectacular style. Beginning in Paris last Monday with Dior and Schiaparelli, the schedule saw a number of exciting moments, including the return of Balenciaga to the couture catwalk, and the welcome of Pyer Moss to the calendar, making its creative director Kerby Jean-Raymond the first Black American fashion designer to be welcomed into the couture fold.
We also saw Jean Paul Gaultier’s collaboration with Sacai revealed for the first time, something fans have been waiting for since it was first announced back in March 2020.
Some brands chose to present their collections digitally, either via fashion films or shoots, or both, while others put on physical catwalk shows with a front row filled with guests, something which feels like a bit of a novelty after the past year and a half. Almost all will were also live-streamed for audiences to watch from home.

just the most wealthy people can have these pieces of craftmanship or pieces of art and perfection but they are just a very very few of the world population , aproximately 4,000 people in the whole world are loyal clients , even the hollywood actresses cant afford one , the parisian fashion houses lend them their dresses for just make publicity , perhaps in the 1950s was very common to see normal people in the streets wearing haute couture pieces but nowadays everything has changed , haute couture now is just like an ornament of the fashion brands , i mean haute couture are not made for sale , just for make advertisement and persuade people to buy their pret a porter (ready to wear ) clothing line , cause ready to wear is more profitable (more moneymaking ) than haute couture

❇0:27❇ This Valentino number looks really good on my Queen skin color. I even like how they uniquely did her eye makeup to match. So damn Beautiful!!! lol now! that look on her is Bazaar! ❇1:12❇ And Chanel did a good job on this dress I love how they designed the lower part of this dress in a intricate way to make it look like she has curves I swear fashion is like art and sometimes art can be fashion. 🦋

?? Seriously folks, what a God awful mess… it would be funny if it were not soooo sad. (It does not take any talent to be self indulgent and waste money by making something that will make people laugh and feel rediculous wearing. The sign of a truely talented designer is to make something that people want to buy and feel beautiful wearing! Harpers has clearly lost the plot with these beyond forgettable 'best of' fashions!)
