Britan had never any strict deportation laws as they never intended to deport anybody for thousands of years. Britain wanted to attract all criminals, money launderers, and bank robbers and their illegal money, just like Swiss. The british economy was always supported by these sort of scoundrels. Contrary to popular opinion inthe former colonies Britan could never get any money out of colonies. In fact often they were forced to support the colonies monetarily against the parliaments will. Thus Britain through the ages were mostly dependent on criminals from all over the world. Today also Britain depends on politicians from all the former colonies who regularly Siphon and launder money. Thus Britain had never deported any body. London was always had a motely crowd of Europeans who have stolen money from all over Europe. Now also Britain lives on fees of overseas students and overseas thieves. Thus a culture of never punishing and never deporting any foreigner was deliberately developed. This culture is deeply ingrained into psyco of all peope loke politicians, voters, judges, civil servants. How can Britain go against a tradition which has been developed over the centuries.

There are not so many crossing the channel. This makes sense as the UK is still a country of racist scumbags where the economy and healthcare would not properly work without migrants.
You, Brits, should thank all the migrants when you'll get a health issue because migrants pay for your NHS (i.e., NHS surcharge) and NHS staff is mainly from foreign background (at least)..

I do remember ID Cards were on the agenda back in the 70s I think, but it was dropped as it was seen as unpopular.. well Rishi bring it in now as your contribution to the UK population and be remembered in History. Because the three main things that are going to lose you the election are Immigration and the NHS and "Net Zero" pollution measures, that's a given, so never mind about being unpopular. Bring in I.D. cards and be remembered. Truss me you will be better thought of than the last P.M.

the thing you don't mention is we are a small country which is already well populated. that is why the public don't want them here . also they don't hold human life as high as we do "so if you upset one of them out comes the Knife" plus we don't arm the bobby on the beat so we are seen as a soft touch compared to most other western nations

"Everyone has the right to claim asylum, but there's no guarantee it will be granted" – Unless you come to the UK, then it's pretty much a formality. But anyone coming here shouldn't worry, you won't be made to leave. Firstly, you'll be picked up in the Channel by either Border Farce or by the RLNI Uber free water taxi service. Once ashore, you won't be asked who you are, what you've done or whether you're a terrorist or dangerous criminal. If you're 35 but say you're 14 then that won't be questioned. After all, there are lots of 14 year olds with grey hair. Then we'll get you into a really nice hotel. Don't worry about any guests, they've all been thrown out. We'll give you money, WIFI, a nice room, a gym pass, a bus pass, a bike, a nice mobile phone – a smartphone not some cheap one and eventually a council house with no bills to pay once you bring all of your family over. So there we are. Welcome to the land of milk and honey.

  22. @lewisbale1

    January 3, 2024 at 10:11 pm

From the UK documentaries I've seen, migrants get Free money and grants/housing . Some of them send the money back home and build house's with the free money they're getting from the UK. The gentleman was very proud to say it it on television, he said everyone is doing it, why not me!

  23. @neotropos

    January 3, 2024 at 10:11 pm

We have better benefits and welfare than pretty much any other country in Europe. Labour love the flow of migrants – it's essentially a vote generation scheme for them in the long term… Tories and neoliberals love them because they're a very cheap source of labour to be exploited for profit… And the so-called left love them because they give them an excuse to call other people 'racist' and 'far right' while not having to worry about asylum centres, crime hot-spots etc coming to their own leafy enclaves because the 'asylum seekers' are invariably dumped on poorer areas.

TLDR news poor attempt at justifying this invasion. Start with deporting all single men who arrive illegally. Comment below highlights an issue with these backwards perverts who constantly get away with their vile behaviour, encouraged by our lax attitudes to these invaders who as recently revealed are partly wanting to come here to sexually harass and rape the local women. If we don't start standing up for ourselves, these creeps and parasites will just keep taking advantage of our kindness, and will invite their friends and entire extended families over here to do the same in an endless cycle of demographic invasions. Ignore the ECHR and the traitorous lobbying activist groups prioritizing the rights of foreign invaders over the actual citizens. We don't owe these people anything, most of the illegal ones are not even coming from commonwealth countries. Criminals from Albania or economic migrants from all over Africa and the global south. We need to start treating the illegal ones like the criminals they are, and eventually, the word will reach wherever these endless hordes of invaders originate that the UK, and ideally Europe does not want or welcome their trespassing. Maybe then the global south will stop endlessly spamming the developed world with unwanted people when these people are actually bothering to fix their own countries. Our countries are not that big, and we reserve the right to not be a minority in the lands our ancestors have lived in for thousands of years, far more so than these invaders our society is too insecure to properly deal with. We are already dealing with the overwhelmed economy caused by legal migration intake rates being economically unviable and incompatible with our welfare and standards of living as it is. There should be no tolerating illegal migration. These foreigners do not come here with our set of modern values, and their birth rates outpace actual British people's by leagues. This foreign population issue is endlessly multiplicative, and we need to seriously start controlling population growth in the UK lest we just accept the ever increasing likeliness that shithole cities like London or Birmingham are to become the norm in the UK and that we evil Brits deserve to be forever colonized by the global south because our political class and society lack the backbone to defend itself, and not become some pathetic and insecure cuck state which despises itself more than the criminals freely allowed to invade at their pleasure.

They come for the free hotels ,the free meals , the free bus , the free taxis , the pocket money , and then they can bring in their relatives when they get asylum, and once accepted can apply for benifits and get the universal credit , that they have never paid into , mean while we have british people sleeping on the streets .

(1). Speaking English. If my life was under threat, and the life of my family, the language spoken by a country offering me sanctuary would be the least of my concerns. To make the choice based on language simply indicates that you are a 'refugee tourist.' On that basis, in addition, many would also go to Ireland. Yet that does not seem to happen.

(2). Already have family and friends. Fine if you are talking about a nuclear family, but if you are talking about an extended family, that would justify a huge importation of foreign nationals. In fact, this would be an active disincentive to a admit what might be a legitimate claim for person X because it would legitimate importing the rest of his extended family that might not have a legitimate claim.

(3). Colonial Past. Italy colonised Libya. France colonised Syria. So why do we take more immigrants from those countries over any other that we admit? Further, I thought that when we granted independence to former colonies it was so that they could determine their own destiny. If they wanted to stay colonised, (and be run by an efficient and tolerant government), they really should have said so at the time. "Historic links that other European countries often don't" Name a western European power that did not have colonies?

(4). 'Safe, tolerant and democratic country." You, mean, unlike France, Germany, Italy, Portugal etc.

Conclusion: The decisions to risk lives going from one sanctuary to another are made on a irrational basis. It is difficult to sympathetic to someone who jumps out of lifeboat into a choppy sea in the hope of being rescued by another lifeboat, and all for no rational reason.
