Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been arrested by paramilitary officers outside court in Islamabad.
Mr Khan was appearing in court on charges of corruption, which he says are politically motivated.

Floods have hit Australia’s largest city Sydney for the third time this year prompting evacuation warnings to 50,000 people.
Parts of Sydney have received about eight months of rain in four days.
Roads have been cut off, some houses are under water and thousands have been left without power.

Saudia Arabia vows ‘serious response’ to Houthi attacks and other stories | Global News Podcast
The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen have continued to fire missiles towards Saudi Arabia, after a number of deadly attacks on Riyadh’s main international airport.
Almost all flights to and from the airport have been suspended. The Houthis say their actions are in retaliation for “brutal Saudi aggression” against areas they control in western Yemen.
Saudi Arabia’s energy minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman told a conference in Riyadh that the seriousness of the attacks required an equally serious response from the Kingdom.

khan is innocent, and honest person. since 75 years all the prime minster in the past has taken gifts from the outside other countries expensive gifts even in cash format also. the Pakistan military high rank officers also have taken expensive gifts more valuable from imran khan gifts. the judge has left the court and immediately after the verdict that he is guilty but he is innocent (IMRAN KHAN) IS NOT GUILTY. It is a perfect blend of corrupt Army, judiciary, politicians and bureaucracy in the name of religion. Army happens to be the root cause of corruption as at stake are billions of dollars which can buy islands, pizza franchises in U.S.A., banglows and businesses in Europe. As if Shariffs and Bhuttos were not enough, Imran Khan Niazi has completed the troika by embezzling millions of dollars of public money. Army is the real player which is calling the shots in Pakistan. It is a sure shot recipe for disaster. Hopefully, Pakistan will be a bankrupt state soon.

Pakistan judges are corrupt and money looter.. corruption charges are all politically motivated and they want us as Pakistani to be quiet and submissive to corrupt higher army officials and nawaz sharif government . Imran khan is an honest Leader and I totally support his honesty. The current government n corrupt army higher official (not all army as there are some good people too) and corrupt judges are all involved in this corruption and atrocities.
