you whitewash Britain saying they have citizens living on the island for a long time- WRONG = no whitewashing here Britain is the biggest THIEF and colonizer and its past is coming to haunt it.

each should get a MP that way all issues are discussed and resolved in Westminster and they should all be unified with the uk as full British citizens have a referendum on that we are better together as one

I often believe that some states in America would want to be apart of Britain or The British Commonwealth if things came down to it. 🇺🇲❤️🇬🇧🌍🌎🌏

I don’t think you mentioned the island that the Queen‘s sister, Princess Margaret, lived for many years, at least part time, entertaining well endowed, criminals and drinking a lot of alcohol. Mystique is its name. isn’t that a crown dependency? It seemed like the princess had a dependency on a lot of gin and well endowed 😂criminals . oh, grow up!

I don't think any of the territories could survive as independent. Their populations and economies are too small

I feel like the UK should annex all it's territories like France did

Population is too low . No one cares

Just look at the mess currently happening in Haiti (200 years of self-rule and total calamity with 3% elite ruling the other 97%) for reason to want to remain a British territory. Great Britain is a top 5 largest GDP country in the world, solid and not going anywhere soon.

  14. @johannjohann6523

    January 3, 2024 at 4:40 am

wow The Falkland Islands are almost 1,000 miles from S. America coast? They are isolated. Say what you want, but under British rule all of these "territories" enjoy a level of economic benefit otherwise would not be seen. Look at how Britain built up Hong Kong which became the leader in far east banking and major manufacturing.

I've been to a couple of these places. Would love to go to BIOT/Diego Garcia, but not likely to happen for a long time if people who were born there can't even go there. Coolest flag of the bunch – if not the world too!

  16. @kendratoussaint6

    January 3, 2024 at 4:40 am

I think it fair to say TCI should remain a territory

Its sick what the British did to people as they steal land and take control around the world. Because of British we cant be as free as we should be on earth. So glad i have zero British decent in my heritage. Give peoples land back without making them a common wealth or whatever…. im talking Complete 100 percent independence.

ask a jamaican what independence feels like more crime murders looting drugs ect ect ect since their independence in 1962 nobody wants to live there now

  22. @rogerm4310

    January 3, 2024 at 4:40 am

With recent events in mind, should a large fleet of CCP controlled ships ever arrive at any of these islands, I would be prepared to make a very large wager that the vote would be 100% in favour of keeping the status quo so I would. 😁

The way I see it, these are the remains of the British Empire. The territories that wanted to leave badly enough to try to leave have long since left. The territories that weren’t worth the cost have been kicked out. What Britain considers worth defending is what someone else would consider worth attacking, and being part of Britain means they don’t have to come up with their own militaries.
