With much of the pandemic’s strictest restrictions now behind us, awards season is now back in full swing. And, although the Golden Globes was a much more toned-down affair this year, the SAG Awards was back in all its glory last night, bringing some of film and television’s biggest stars out on the red carpet, and they certainly made up for lost time.
From the actresses who embraced colour to those who had a thing for volume and others who were all about understated elegance on the red carpet, there was plenty of fashion to be enjoyed at the 2022 #SAGAwards. In January 1919 a 50-foot molasses tank burst in Boston’s North End and a wave moving at about 35 mph killed 21 people.
The papers called it an explosion and the owners blamed a bomb; the tank’s steel tells a different story.
