I hope Boris puts NO DEAL back on the table if the EU doesn't play FAIR with us in the UK, and why would any Government show its hand to anyone and give the EU an inside view of what our Government's is planning to put forward.

  8. @1981stonemonkey

    January 2, 2024 at 4:28 pm

Do a video about the fuss the Institute of Government about the EU possibly taking the UK to court in december, what role the Institute of Government's think tank and Ursula Vonderleyen play in this warning, and what exactly needs to be agreed upon concerning the Irish border at the end of this year for the call to court to be avoided.

Boris is making me feel quite nervous now, i always thought that despite brexit i'll be safe in England since i've been here for 4 and a half years now, i've built a life and a career here but the news seem to point more and more that he aims towards an agressive stance on EU workers living in the UK and that worries me. I will not accept humiliations like specialty taxes or "EU immigrant" ID's or shite like that

Is the uk alowed to start trade negotiations with none EU Countries during the transition period?

  12. @joebloggs5186

    January 2, 2024 at 4:28 pm

Because the opposition added on to the original bill. The government removed them to make a clean bill that is less complex. It doesn't mean the parts removed aren't going to be enacted in another bill. They have basically undone all the wrecking amendments.

So what happens to Scotland and Ireland? Are the borders in Ireland going to close, if they do war will be reinstated by the IRA. Since Ireland has Oil The Britain will surely start a war for the Oil. Also the control of the Scotlish Shipyards to prevent a UK from becoming independent Countries. Which each nation could hold its own prosperity. If England decides to fully split.

Thank God Boris Johnson and his Conservative party are in charge , our country nearly lost its democracy because the remainers wouldn’t accept a Democratic decision

  21. @ad9898

    January 2, 2024 at 4:28 pm

Worker's rights set by the EU were a minimum, member states were completely free to augment these rights if they chose. To remove them as Johnson has done is purely to reduce these standards, there can be no other reason. I hope those millions of working class voters who voted for Johnson for Brexit reasons understand what they've done. I suspect having seen a cross section of them on TV during the election that almost certainly don't. Turkeys have in fact voted for Christmas.

  22. @jabberwocker6305

    January 2, 2024 at 4:28 pm

Damn Brexit is still not done yet ? Even I give up a shit after 30mins. I am not from the UK but damn I really do feel for the people in limbo. Just rip off the bandage and get it done.

  23. @longmemory4716

    January 2, 2024 at 4:28 pm

I think you've forgotten perhaps the most significant change whereby Boris has neutered the committee that oversees the negotiations thus eliminating any chance that the EU could extend the process unilaterally.

  24. @peterbreis5407
