“Britain’s MOST EXPENSIVE Airbnb” – Will Kensington MOCKS the STATE of the UK
Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.
This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.

Just got back from shopping and am staggered to see prices have gone up 8p / L since the weekend!
@SCjunk
January 2, 2024 at 7:52 am
won't make any difference they already knocked 5 to 10 p off fuel and within days the retailers and suppliers put the price back up using the tax reduction as a windfall after all they have to make back the losses they "suffered" during covid.

i have a question why do the motorists of the UK TOLERATE getting TAXED TWICE ON PETROL and DIESEL ,we pay Fuel duty (TAX) of 57.95p per litre then we pay VAT(TAX) @ 20% on top of that ,why does the GOVT.GET TWO BITES AT THE CHERRY ..maybe a to raise the money to get a Court case going to sue the GOVT. FOR THE RETURN OF OUR MONEY.. seems people forgot about the fuel duty when they decided to CHARGE US VAT ON TOP OF THE TAX WE ALREADY PAID ,,like their saying we can do what we want and there's F,, All you can do about it..

@PadreAlan67
January 2, 2024 at 7:52 am
He won't cut it. He must make back the money to hide the damage all the covid cash has done to the economy and the tax he is taking on fuel is helping that disappear.
@Berlitz81
January 2, 2024 at 7:52 am
If you're going to enter into the realm of using your public broadcasting platform to demand tax reductions you should, and indeed must at the same time explain on which commodity/commodities you intend to increase taxation to compensate for the loss of revenue.
Or, if you're unwilling to lose favour with your overawed viewers, just explain what services you propose to cut due to reduced tax revenue.
You guys are fooling nobody with your ''reduce taxes'' rhetoric.

The price of imported fuel is what it is. If we produced more in house maybe the prices could be controlled. Also if electric cars paid a fair share of tax also (considering they use up the same amount of tarmac as any other vehicle) then a tax cut on fuel would be possible.
@adrianrouse5148

Fuel prices increase every other cost. 5p a litre does nothing
