Sierra Leone explosion: Scores dead after Freetown oil tanker collision – BBC News
At least 98 people have died after a massive explosion when a fuel tanker collided with a lorry in Sierra Leone’s capital, Freetown.
Fuel spilled before igniting and the resulting inferno engulfed bystanders and vehicles at a busy junction.
Footage broadcast by local media outlets showed badly charred bodies in the streets surrounding the tanker.
After visiting the scene, Vice-President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh said it was a “national disaster”.
He said that the injured would receive free medical treatment.

What you see is not what you get. A smile comes first with a knife in the back from this country. Lots of scammers in this country, and the government doesn't protect the investors. Police, ministers, lawyers, magistrates, are in the mix of the scammers and are working with scammers to cheat investors. Investors are frustrated and are leaving or simply not going to Sierra Leone because of the corruption. Nigerians in this country team up with Sierra Leonians and have friends in the government to defraud people. I even have a letter that was suppose to go to the president to help the country by bringing in Billions for funding, but the people in the government wants pay offs to get the letter to the president. So Sad. The state house email doesn't even work. The same company was going to bring in fuel at low costs so the government could make money, regulate the fuel prices to stay low for the people. If there's now law then it will never be right for investors.
