I wonder what General Petraeus thinks now. I wonder what John Simpson is saying now. The Ukrainians have been forced to fight this counter-offensive by the warlords in the West. They are dying just to please the people making money from this war. Can we not just admit this? Crimea ( and the east of Ukraine) is now Russian. it is not coming back to Ukraine. Cut the losses. Stop the people being needlessly killed! Or at least start feeling guilty for encouraging them to die.

Ukraine will not achieve air superiority over the disputed region (neither will Russia). Therefore Ukraine should proceed with its offensive while Russia is in paralysis with mutineers.

petraeus is the quintessential spokesman for the MIC and non elected swamp creatures in the Beltway who have made Ukraine the 51st state with a 150B $ welfare handout to defend the UKE border but leaving the US/Mexican border completely undefended and open. 70 ton tanks means he is completely clued out on tanks geometry and has been in an office job for too long and he was no shining star in Iraq against a weak Iraq army.

This didn't age well! Ukraine are getting decimated. How could the Ukrainian leadership be so stupid and so reckless with the lives of their people as to end up being cannon fodder in the US/NATO's proxy war against Russia? Having to beg for weapons and being pressured by the West into a suicidal offensive, hopelessly trying to show a return on Lindsay Grahams investment to precure more weapons that ultimately won't make any difference.
I will never forgive the US/NATO for creating this mess, my own country (UK) for being a major ringleader and deliberately stalling piece talks, and the "leadership" of the entire collective west for arming bankrolling, in some cases, actual neo-nazis and prolonging this war, you all have blood on your hands!
